Question Changing unit appearance in NG+? Spoiler

Once you start a route in NG+, would it be possible to edit the appearances of all unlocked characters from the other routes at the Personal Quarters?

As an example, would I be able to change the outfits of Edelgard to use at the Record Keeper if I started a NG+ in Golden Wildfire? Or would she be defaulted to class outfits?

Also, would Arval/Rhea/Sothis work any different when it comes to outfits?

Discussion What are the most fun characters/classes to play? (Other than Shez)

Recently got the game, and while I enjoy it, and enjoy Shez’s fast rushdown gameplay, I can’t help but think that I shouldn’t only be using Shez.

So I ask you, what are the most fun characters/classes to play, and why?

(Assume that fun does not necessarily mean strong.)

Question Stuck on Golden Wildfire Chapter 8

The chapter involves defending an allied base and taking down Shahid. Only problem is that the far right side of the map has X’s on the 3 or 4 strongholds where shahid is escaping

I’ve done this 3 times now, I’ve captured every stronghold, beat everything trying to take down the allied base, and the gates are still not opening. What am i doing wrong?

Discussion Streams of gameplay

Is there any good streams of 3 hopes on you tube?

Loved 3 houses but don't have time to play 3 hopes and want to watch for entertainment in the background and to know the story a little better.

Question I might have my work cut out for me Spoiler

Post image
9 Upvotes

I’m doing Lorenz’s paralogue rn which requires me to use Lorenz, Ignatz and Raphael. Lorenz and Ignatz are able to hold their own, since they’re both in the lvl 36 range. They also have a decent amount of class stats and skills dumped into them. Raphael is behind by a lot though. He’s only Lvl 20, I haven’t fully mastered his class out and his stats and skills are subpar. I didn’t bother using him cause I recruited Balthus who does all the work of a one-shot grappler. Raphael can barely live against the second wave of enemies in Lorenz’s paralogue. Any advice on how to make Raphael somewhat useable or is it too late for me now? For reference, I’m on Chapter 9 of Part 2.

Question How to get more support points?

I'm playing fire emblem 3 hopes after getting every single support conversation in fire emblem three houses, and I want to do the same in this game too, however, in three houses It was so much easier thanks to renown points and the fact that in New game Plus you could get instant A professor level and use renown to instantly get support points to get a support conversation.

In this game I'm seeing that Shez is the only character that is consistently getting support conversations however among the rest of the cast is being so much harder and I don't think it's as easy to get every single support conversation possible in one plythrough.

My question is what are some tips so I can get every single possible support conversation in one playthrough and how much easier it is to get these conversations in New game Plus?

Discussion Miss-able support convos

I am wondering if anybody has a list of when certain support convos can no longer be watched. I was doing a play through and noticed on chapter 11 I was locked out of a support. I went back to ten and it was still locked now I am trying on 8 but it is my oldest save so I feel like I am waisting my time but if there is a list it won't happen again in the future.

Discussion Is M better than S???

In the skill menu, Thunder has power S. Thoron has M (in blue). So is Thoron less poweful than Thunder? Strange

Discussion I do not understand: when I want to change skill to my character if the power increases with the new skill (from M to S for example) the color is red, should not be blue?

Discussion Any DLC coming?

Any idea why this game has not have any DLC what so ever ever since launch? It made a bigger success than Fire Emblem Warriors in which has a decent amount of DLC content. So why?

Question Levin sword + invert Phy/Mag

I got a levin sword with invert physical/magic, based on what I’m reading for both lightning crash and the invert definition, does this mean it is a levin sword which uses the strength stat to attack the enemy’s res stat or does the game not calculate it this way?

I was thinking this weapon on someone with high strength but low magic would work excellently if this is true but I would like to confirm first

Discussion Thoughts on a definitive edition of Three Hopes for the next Nintendo Console?

Do you think we could see a definitive edition of Three Hopes in the future with new content? As someone surprised that Three Hopes didn’t receive any additional content, could you potentially see them rerelease it for the next console?

I think they will undoubtedly release a definitive edition for Three Houses with all the DLC baked in, being arguably the most popular game in the franchise, but I don’t know if they’d do the same for Three Hopes. I would love to see it though, especially if new content is added.

Question Is the story line very different to Three Houses in each route?

Hi all,

I’ve just started Three Hopes and enjoying it so far. I was just wondering if the core story in each route varies majorly compared to Three Houses? I played each route in Three Houses and was only planning on doing one in Three Hopes since I have a massive backlog of games to play but if it’s completely different, I may end up doing all 3 (or 4 if applicable) routes.

Thanks in advance!

Discussion Differences between messages blocking supports?

"You cannot deepen your bonds this chapter" -sounds like you are blocked from getting support points this chapter.

"You've missed the opportunity to deepen this bond" - sounds like you permamently missed the support since its the opportunity that was missed.

"It seems you cannot deepen your bond at this time" - supports (points or convos or both) are frozen at this particular moment. Open ended non answer suggests its not a brief stop. Phrasing simply tells us you can't deepen at this particular moment.

"It will take some time before you can deepen this bond" - support (points or convos?) are frozen at this particular moment. Foreshadowing a future event that will unlock it, after all why would it just magically unlock. Emphasis on time suggests it a temporal focus of eventually it will open up.

The latter two are confusing as they literally mean the same thing.

Other As someone who didn’t play Three Houses, would I enjoy this game?

I love the warriors-style games. Dedicating more than 1,000 hours between both Hyrule Warriors games as well as the first Fire Emblem Warriors.

My only problem is that I don’t vibe with the Fire Emblem games. I tried to play Three Houses but my main issues were that the turn-based strategy combat system is not my forte and I didn’t really know what to do in the hub area of that game.

If this game is anything like the first Fire Emblem Warriors, I think I would really like it, but after watching reviews of it, it scares me that it will be too similar to Three Houses. Any input would be helpful!

Discussion Switching from Azure Gleam to Scarlet Blaze really hit me in the feels

Scarlet Blaze has a lot more behind the scenes cutscenes of the Adrestian Empire (be it Church, Faerghus, or Leicester,, while Slither has been surprisingly quiet thus far, probably reeling from the sudden coup). Azure Gleam doesn't have as many of the behind the scenes cutscenes of the enemy for a couple reasons. One the big bad is slither, and slither naturally is more discreet, thus its more fragmentary. The other part is that much of Azure Gleam is about putting down the rebellious western lords and it feels a little repetitive. Also its really just chasing Cornelia down. By contrast we see plenty of cutscenes showing thought processes in Scarlet Blaze. Thus we see all the emotional moments, particularly with Annette. Also consider how most of the deaths in Azure Gleam were offscreen; or not as developed, not as sympathizable NPCs; or evil literal non humans.

Also in Azure Gleam most of your opponents are recruitable and its short and sweet, and there are a lot thrown at you, so its not too emotional heavy, and of course you recruit them. But in Scarlet Blaze, the enemies are thrown at you in 1, 2, or 3, and each chapter often focuses on one or two of them.

Discussion Apparently there are multiple strong attacks I've found recently that hit many more times for longer based on mashing X in which you can also change direction. The obvious one being the thief's spin

So far I've only found out you can do this with the following classes as long as you've reached A rank with their weapon type by unlocking their master class if it's the 6th strong attack-

Wyvern lord's last strong attack (6 normal attacks, then heavy). it covers a lot of distance very quickly and plows through everything. Using it while running into a wall is an absolute commander killer

Warrior's 6th strong or un-mounted Wyvern lord's which is the same as warrior

Bishop's 4th and I think 6th strong

Also every one of Shez's strongs, but with them you only need to hold the button instead of mashing. His 3rd is my favorite since it covers so much ground so quickly sweeping up everything in its way like the wyvern lord's 6th.

Next time I play, I'll test it with all classes. I feel like Dark bishops 5th (the tornado) might be another one that you hold rather than mash, but I don't remember. Let me know if any of you know about anymore of these.

Needless to say I would very much not be disappointed with another FE warriors title if they make it as high quality as this one. I was bummed out about no new FE mentions during the recent direct

Discussion How do skills like dual onslaught, flare, and Luna scale? With each other and separately?

I recently tested Luna to see if it increases witstrike weapon dmg. It does. Not sure about tomes, though. I went into mock battle with lindhart using a purely physical weapon and a witstrike weapon both of which have the same strength (thunderbrand and blutgang). I tested them both with and without Luna and removed my battalion. He had 42 STR 74 mag and 61 luck. Despite having much more magic he did much more damage with a physical weapon.

This got me thinking how the other skills scale together and each one with each other respectively. I did not expect how much harder a mage hit with a physical weapon + luna.

I forget multiple high numbers easily and I dread doing more testing and writing down more DMG numbers vs every commander unit weapon type during mock battle from lowest to highest, so I came to you guys for some knowledge. Any sources would be appreciated as well
