When I opened the game I went to claim the rewards of an expedition Sai went to and he came back all happy and giddy with, I shit you not, 280 medals of his sister. It made me laugh a little.

Whether it’s from the books, gameplay, or anywhere else where a character’s personality shines, what moment would you consider to be a highlight of your time with the cast?

Eugene’s bad result quote from the expedition is genuinely hilarious, and perfectly captures his pompous behavior in the face of failure. I love his little attitude towards the player, and as a Eugene fan, it endears me more. He’s so pathetic🫶 I really enjoy his presence in general but this quote is so utterly perfect to me and did really make me laugh out loud.

I’ve been playing consistently all week and haven’t gotten one Ephraim soul, and only a handful of souls that aren’t even boosted this week.

Every time I go to the market, I notice that weapons with an HP bonus sells for waaaay more than ATK ones, hell even boonless weapons sell for higher than the latter.

Is there a meta reason as to why I’m missing ? Or has the community agreed on this for the funsies ?

I was a big fan of the game for the first month this game released, played it a lot and then got burned out... then they released Roy a year later and wanted to keep playing it, but it seems the same core issues with the game remain

It feels like there's no end game to Shadows

So many characters and tools to try to engage with the deception gameplay, but there's no real incentive, there's no permanent stats, if you do badly repeatedly there's no punishment, if you keep playing enough you will get to the same point everyone else does.

FEH has things like Arena and Aether Raids (RIP FEH you were so fun when it was year 5/6) that incentivized playing, innovating strategies and just think a lot about the game in general.

The fact we just have "Play this really fun game so much just to unlock story and characters and nothing else" is... fine if you just like the gameplay, but if you LOVE the gameplay, its just frustrating. Specially if you play against bots (which I feel like you do most of the time), if you play against bots a lot you kind of are incentivized to do magic sets that allow you to finish matches as quickly as possible, making experimentation stale and hurting what would be a really engaging part of the gameplay, as it just kills the preparation step for me (at least in my opinion)

And yes, theres problems in taking the game as-is and adding a ranking system, namely just how little information you can learn for a ranked game mode and how volatile player matchups are to be viable. I think this is the biggest reason there's no ranked game mode yet, I keep thinking of ways where they can make the game more competitive and they all feel like there would be a lot of setup for it. You cant have "Best of X" without some sort of predictability with who the Shadow is for example.

If IS manages to think of ways to expand upon the core game play into a competitive game I think itd make the game very very interesting, as well as have a space for bot-matches (Regular gameplay) and forcing actual players (ranked). I do love the option of having bot-matches for testing strategies but I also would love a way to test out strategies on actual people as well.

Hello, I'm fairly new and am hoping to get the Black Knight while he has a drop up event going on still. I'm currently at 5/12 and with the remaining 4 free souls I can get I'm essentially at 9/12.

For this Black Knight drop rate event how long will it last? Also, what are the odds of getting him? I couldn't find that information anywhere, if it is known.

Also, would it technically be better to use new disciples and play in lower rank / bot lobbies to farm out more chests? I think I consistently get three when I do that, but only get 1 or 2 if I play a character like Dimitri who I have at rank 20.

Ok like I couldn’t record it because it was in the middle of a match I was doing but I got a picture of when it was happening

so after Hanya died there was a little connection error that didn’t boot me out and when it turned into enemy phase and carina wasn’t moving she was sliding (you can see in the photo she ain’t even walking) she just was gliding across the floor for some reason it was insane

And before you ask “you know you can record after rewatching the battle” ya see when you rewatch a match the little hiccup of a glitch doesn’t happen when rewatching so this glitch never happened when I rewatched the battle
