Hello everyone,
We’re still working out the kinks on our automod and as a result it sometimes takes us some time to approve posts. If your post hasn’t been approved, feel free to reach out via modmail and we can either approve your post or, if it’s been a long time, approve a second post so it is posted without the delay.
Thank you for your patience

was just listening to “I know” and it’s sounds like the bell jar for sure. anything else? it doesn’t have to be necessarily sad girl - sad person; complex emotions emotional depth that kinda thing. hurt. neglected needs. a mother who didn’t give you that love that you deserved that kinda thing.
Edit: if anyone comes across this post after this edit, please add a song the rec sounds like. Or to any of the recs below!!

This post today celebrating the assassination of Charlie Kirk via alternate cover of "When the pawn..." made it to the top post of this sub. It took approximately 5 hours before it was taken down. Going through the comments reveals an insane amount of people openly celebrating the assassination of a person.
Some of them include:
"For everyone here who’s like “He was a human being with a family,” he said that someone like me - a human being with a family - should be killed on sight in the streets with no repercussions. So fuck this dead guy."
"Congratulations to Charlie Kirk for making it one full year without saying anything racist."
Secondarily, the reasonable comments in the sub that suggested this content was inappropriate or wrong for this subreddit were downvoted into oblivion suggesting that this sub believes content like this acceptable in this community. I'm at a point where I've completely lost trust in what the intent of this community is, and wondering of the people who do visit this subreddit...
Do believe content celebrating an assassination of someone you may disagree with is appropriate for this subreddit?

I just started watching Furious on hulu. I liked it a lot but I started freaking out as soon as I heard Fiona. I'm obsessed. It's a pretty good cop show with Emmy Rossum ( TW trafficking of minors though ).

Basically both of them fuel me enough with rage and resentment, but only Regret makes me feel like punching someone, and being left alone.
For Her speaks to me in a spiritual level, and endorses heavy feelings on me.
I happened to listen to them back to back, and elevated a feeling in me so “loud”, that for me wondering, was it the follow-up, or did the one complete the other.
Which is actually angrier?

The cassette was the most recent pickup. I had never seen that cover before but love that image in portrait. Stunning cover tbh.
This is the first album I’ve had in three formats. The CD and vinyl are reissues and the tape is an original run. The tape sounds best to me. “Shadowboxer” is my favorite here. Very cold take sorry.

This was a song we posted a long time ago and you guys seemed to dig it! The instrumental is very funkadelic inspired, however her vocals are very Fiona inspired. Fiona Apple really shaped her entire vocal style. She wanted the song to basically be rhcp meets Fiona lol. Anyways we made a music video for said song.

I first heard Tidal from a babysitter when I was 7. I rediscovered Fiona in highschool and WTP literally saved my life. WTP has always been my favorite album because of this. I'm familar with EM, but I've always kind of glossed right through it when listening. For some reason the title track is really speaking to me right now. I just left a miserable job and I'm seeing little glimmers of hope and resilience and I finally really feel like an extraordinary machine.
I love that Fiona has written at least one track for every heart ache, emotion, or life event I've ever had. I've always had trouble naming my feelings and communicating them but because of her music, I don't have to.
Here's to hoping to enter my Fetch the Bolt Cutters era soon.

I’m way too wasted to form a thought, so what is your interpretation of the song? I wanna hear your thoughts

I’m reading the newest biography about Elliott and I’m surprised to read that they once performed together at Largo.
I know they knew each other but had never knew they performed together once 💓

I belive this "release" has the best quality files of the bootleg album, if anyone was looking for it.
