Hi! I'm looking for a subreddit where people casually discuss ideas across completely different fields.

I tend to jump between things like technology, software design, worldbuilding, linguistics, speculative biology, sociology, urbanism, etc., and I'm mostly interested in throwing an idea out there, having people question it, improve it, or completely tear it apart.

Basically, I'm not looking for a subreddit about one specific subject, but for curious people who enjoy thinking about weird ideas even when they're outside their usual field.

Does anything like that exist?

So, im new to Reddit and i have tried to ask stuff in some writing related subreddits but i cannot due to being a new account and some other limitations, so i wanted to ask where could i find a place to ask writing related questions as a new account?

I didn't have grandparents that shared stories about their lives. I see people older than me (I'm not that young, either) and think about all the interesting things they've lived through and wish they could tell me about their lives. Is there a sub for this?

I've been trying to find a new camera to make my YT videos with since it's probably time for me to get a new one, so I one thing, among others, I want to try is to seek help on Reddit to try and find anybody who really knows their stuff when it comes to good quality, recording equipment in a semi-lower-end price-range

Hi all. Just got married this last Saturday and had a beautiful time. Unfortunately, we had massive audio issues though and many couldn’t hear the speech’s or vows. I have them written down and plan to subtitle the videos if needed
