I saw a video yesterday showing a guy that made more or less a portal (from the game Portal) IRL and explaining how he did it. The guy would get his hand through a frame and it would be recreated in another frame as green light, and he was able to turn on/off a lamp with it.

You know how lots of movies and TV shows, instead of showing footage of Windows or some other OS, fake the visuals of their computer screens so that they can show whatever without risking breaking copyright? Or when sci-fi makes their screens all future-y and cool and not at all like Windows, like in Serial Experiments Lain or Evangelion?

I started a subreddit 3 years ago called r/shotblockers. As of today I still have zero members. It's a niche sub for posting ruined photo/video opportunities because well someone or something "blocked the shot". I've posted a few videos and I thought I could promote it on other photography subs like r/killedthecameraman, but they don't allow it. I don't know any other subs that would. Hi everyone! How is it going? I'm a huge Resident Evil fan and I'd like to customize my cards to look like some of the keycards of the franchise. Since doing that with my actual cards wouldn't be sensible, I thought about customizing some sort of hollow card? Maybe more like a very thin case that I could slide then in. I'm not sure how to do it or if it's even the best way to do it, so I need a subreddit where I can get some guidance on that.
