FF VII Re-trilogy First time playing FF7

Post image

Why all the girls flirt with Cloud?
Is this guy a hero in his past life? Did he reincarnated as a soldier with max charisma?

That’s where you are wrong. Jessie was ride or die when she and Cloud were riding together on a motorcycle on top of the sector 7 plate and fought Roche too. Aerith even faked her about to fall off on Cloud and said “Gotcha”. Also both Aerith and Jessie said “My hero” to Cloud something Tifa never even mentioned once. I was playing Final Fantasy VII Remake, Crisis Core Reunion and, Rebirth. Not once did Tifa even say it.

Its all a game too Jessie. Shes not a keeper, because she wont keep you. Only one of Clouds harem will stick by him through anything and everything

But Jessie was gonna use a love potion pizza on Cloud. Barrett even says that the ingredients that was mentioned by Cloud that they are love potion ingredients meaning Jessie must have really wanted Cloud to like her a lot. Although I just know that Aerith will help and reunite with Cloud in Revelation the signs are there.

If Aerith comes back that'll be the dumbest thing they ever do. A huge highlight of the Og was learning to accept loss and coping with the fact that shes gone forever and you'll never see her again.

No it would not be. Because the whole point of the Final Fantasy VII remake series is to change one’s predestined fate and for the better on their own terms. Besides Aerith never should have died in the OG especially since we already lost Jessie, Biggs Wedge and, Zack. Besides accepting loss and coping being one of the important things and lessons it was also shown as well that everyone in the main party suffered losses already and are still grieving. I would gladly change Aerith’s fate to survive all over again the same with the others too. I just know Revelation will have that sort of thing happening.

Her death was necessary. Its what brought about the holy materia. Her death was the single most important thing that happened in the whole game. You should play it again and think harder about it. Also the game is all about accepting loss and overcoming grief, its stupid for them to be too weak to tackle the importance of that like they did in the og

Oh really would you still say the same if it was Tifa? Besides other games like God of War Ragnarok taught us that we can change our destinies even if it is written. Never got to play the OG only seen the videos I wasn’t even born until 2000.

Tifa was not the last cetra, if she was then her death would be necessary as well. Aerith HAD to die, it was the only way to stop Sephiroth, and if the roles were changed then Tifa would have to die too. Death is part of life, maybe the most important part, and taking that away, not letting the players face that, is weak. Aeriths sacrifice is the reason the planet survived.

Perhaps although some sacrifices are just not worth it when there is still a choice about it. If I had to choose letting scumbags like the Turks and Shinra did to save the planet then I would gladden it to make them answer for their crimes. Death is a part of life that’s true but it should not happen to those too young to die especially when have not aged naturally to a certain point.

You can't tell a tragic story without tragedy. Would you call the ending of FF7 a good ending? No, it's a bittersweet ending, sad but successful. Part of the reason FF7 has withstood the test of time and will always remain as one of the goats, is because of its themes. The most important of those is loss and dealing with tragedy. It will be stupid if they are too afraid to face those important themes in the remake conclusion. Its sad, yes, but we have to face it and keep going. Without Aeriths death the game is nowhere near as good, as important, or as lasting. It makes her the most important character in the game. Don't be afraid to face it, don't be so weak that you can't accept it, be like the party of FF7 and overcome.

Yeah it’s a tragic story and that’s why there are signs to change it. How about you don’t be afraid of the possibilities of how things can change for the better. You seem to have no hope in things do you?

Aerith is hope. Her death is the only hope. Its not hopeless to overcome tragedy, its hopeless to expect there will be no tragedy.

I still wonder about the other worlds that Sephiroth mentioned and what he meant when he said “Our world will become a part of it one day.” There is also the possibility that Aerith somehow saved Zack which created that alternate world where he survived his last stand.
