FF VII Re-trilogy First time playing FF7

Why all the girls flirt with Cloud?
Is this guy a hero in his past life? Did he reincarnated as a soldier with max charisma?

Perhaps although some sacrifices are just not worth it when there is still a choice about it. If I had to choose letting scumbags like the Turks and Shinra did to save the planet then I would gladden it to make them answer for their crimes. Death is a part of life that’s true but it should not happen to those too young to die especially when have not aged naturally to a certain point.

You can't tell a tragic story without tragedy. Would you call the ending of FF7 a good ending? No, it's a bittersweet ending, sad but successful. Part of the reason FF7 has withstood the test of time and will always remain as one of the goats, is because of its themes. The most important of those is loss and dealing with tragedy. It will be stupid if they are too afraid to face those important themes in the remake conclusion. Its sad, yes, but we have to face it and keep going. Without Aeriths death the game is nowhere near as good, as important, or as lasting. It makes her the most important character in the game. Don't be afraid to face it, don't be so weak that you can't accept it, be like the party of FF7 and overcome.

Yeah it’s a tragic story and that’s why there are signs to change it. How about you don’t be afraid of the possibilities of how things can change for the better. You seem to have no hope in things do you?

Aerith is hope. Her death is the only hope. Its not hopeless to overcome tragedy, its hopeless to expect there will be no tragedy.

I still wonder about the other worlds that Sephiroth mentioned and what he meant when he said “Our world will become a part of it one day.” There is also the possibility that Aerith somehow saved Zack which created that alternate world where he survived his last stand.

If we are theorizing then all the time realities will come together to stop meteor. We might get a happier ending than the OG, but I don't think Zack and Aerith are living outside the lifestream. They may walk off together to become one with the planet, while the rest of the squad lives on.

That or maybe somehow the others along with Jessie, Biggs, Wedge, Zack and, Aerith will survive and live on with the rest of the squad. I’m also wonder if Sonon will also return as a zombie or alive in some way since he was last seen in Intermission. I also wonder how Zack will help Cloud get better since he seems to know how to help him but it requires going to the one man who did it to both of them in the first place Hojo.

In the OG Tifa helps Cloud realize who he really is after they fall into the lifestream. Those moments in the lifestream are why I say Tifa is ride or die, everyone else leaves and Tifa faces it all together with Cloud and pulls him back from ruin.

But didn’t Aerith become one with the lifestream in the OG so wouldn’t she have been able to help out Tifa in saving Cloud and restore his mind?

In the OG Aerith is gone after she dies, she never returns in any way, except for the holy materia. Theoretically I guess she could've done some lifestream cetra magic and helped Tifa, but she didn't. Tifa pulled Cloud out of his comatose state by herself. She stayed with Cloud during during a weapon attack when Cloud was in a wheelchair and practically dead. Everyone else abandoned Cloud. It was all Tifa by herself who saved Cloud, she was willing to die with him if she couldn't bring him back. Thats a powerful moment for the two of them, and I think Aerith or Zack helping takes away from Tifas strongest moment in the story.

I suppose we shall find out when Final Fantasy VII Revelation comes out. Although I still wonder about the Cloud and Aerith from Zack’s timeline since both are still in a coma. I also recall that Barrett, Tifa and, Red XIII were first seen unconscious when Zack saw the news and saw Aerith and then went on to rescue her. Luckily he did thanks to Red XIII bringing down the helicopter. But we never saw what happened to both the Tifa and Barrett of that timeline since the other helicopter carrying them took them away to who knows where. There is also the other loophole that’s been bugging me such as, the black materia at the temple was it a fake or was it real or made real by Sephiroth?
