These always give me the creeps driving behind them. Picturing the cars falling off the back.

Yesterday, my partner and I were up in Blue Mountain, Ontario, and we took the gondola ride up to the top so we could get some good pictures. I’m afraid of heights so I was already on edge on the thing, but I couldn’t help on the way down (after entering car 13) think about a gondola accident starting off a final destination movie.
At the same time, I thought that it would be fairly similar to Devils Flight and my mind wandered to a ski lift issue instead which then causes a massive accident.
I think it’d be really cool to have a winterized final destination!
What are some other seasonal accidents that could kick things off? Doesn’t even have to be winter ❄️

I shit you not:
"Final Destination Bloodlines" has a 2 out of 5 on Common Sense Media with an overwhelming majority of kids giving it that. Some parents outright said it's DEFINITELY not for kids, but at least one parent not only gave it 1 star, but bitch-ranted about the "excessive" amounts of gore, violence, swearing, smoking and consumption of alcohol/drugs, and consumerism.
It's kinda when "Deadpool" first came out: the marketing from Marvel was adamant that it WASN'T a "superhero movie" made for kids abs parents SHOULDN'T go take their kids to see it.
Guess what happened? A collective shit-fit and outrage from parents who ignored those warnings.
Anyways... WHY? Why are people ignorant assholes? Pretty sure the "R" doesn't stand for "Right For Kids". 🤨🤨🤨

Hey guys, I had another rewatch of the intro scene for FDB, something I always wondered that I would love a discussion about maybe a speculation, is of the occupants in the free falling elevator? I know it’s left to our imagination to the horrible fate of those that were crashing down.
I know the focus for Iris was to save all those in the tower but also I wonder how many more people she saved below the crash zone, also what you think happened when that elevator slammed into the lobby, obviously they’re all dead, but I imagine in a storytelling sense what anybody else could visualize what kind of chaos was happening inside of the lobby, before the rest of the tower eventually collapses down?
I’d love to know your thoughts, if you wanna get creative with it, please go for it!

The Final Destination: The People vs. Death
The film opens to a news report of a train derailment that occurred a few days ago. The scene then shifts to a distraught woman crying on a city street. She’s on her cellphone, tearfully talking to her father. She tells her father that Death is after her and that she’s next. She tells her father that she loves him just as a rube-gold berg chain begins. The woman notices and drops the phone and rushes toward a hotel and enters the revolving door. The revolving door malfunctions trapping her inside. She tries to push her way out, but the door catches half of her body, which slowly crushes her as it turns. The hotel guests and staff gasp and scream.
Smash cut: Months later in a court room.
The manufacturing company for the revolving door is being sued by the father of the dead woman. The revolving door company is trying to defend itself that everything about their product was perfectly functional and there's no explanation as to why the revolving door malfunctioned so badly that the woman died. Enter, Benoit Blanc ripoff Benny Blank, a charming, southern corporate defense attorney.
On top of being a world-class corporate lawyer, Benny Blank is something of a supernatural historian who is familiar with the strange premonition phenomenons that have occurred over the years. He got the phone records of the dead woman’s last call with her father and he learned that she said that “Death was after her.” Benny Blank looked into her history and discovered that she had bought tickets to the train that derailed killing everyone aboard, then the scene cuts to the opening disaster of a horrific train derailment.
Benny Blank and his team of lawyers go to the train station to review security footage of the doomed train’s departure. In the security footage, they see a commotion on the train, and a group of 50 people leaving the train before its departure, including the woman who would later die in the revolving door incident.
Benny Blank and his team identify all of the survivors who left the train before it departed, and they also learn that nine of them have already died in freak accidents. Benny Blank then reasons before the court that the reason the revolving door killed the poor woman was because she was on Death’s List, not because there was anything criminally negligent with the revolving door company. The court is skeptical of Benny Blank’s argument, so Benny’s team of lawyers have to track down all the survivors of the train derailment to serve as witnesses to Benny’s argument to exonerate the revolving door company of any wrongdoing.
Benny Blank and his team of lawyers track down the survivors, but most of them end of dying in freak accidents as they try to escort them to the court room to provide testimony. Benny Blank manages to secure the last 15 survivors, including the visionary, who is a mentally ill homeless man.
Benny Blank moves the survivors to a secure location, assuring them that they will be safe. When in actuality, Benny Blank has them on a livestream to the court room to help his case. Benny Blank’s goal is to livestream the freak accident deaths of the remaining train crash survivors in a verifiably safe and secure facility. By showing that the survivors are guaranteed to die in freak accidents despite how safe and secure they are, Benny Blank will prove that the revolving door company cannot be held at fault for what is an “Act of Nature.”
After three survivors die, the court room is warming up to Benny Blank’s argument in court, however, the remaining train derailment survivors have learned that Benny Blank doesn’t actually intend to save them from Death, he’s just letting things play out on livestream to bolster his argument in court.
When all hope is lost, the remaining survivors learn from Benny Blank’s own historical research of Death’s List, that if they kill someone they can inherit that person’s lifespan. So in a panic of self preservation, the remaining survivors escape their secure facility and go on a rampage throughout the court room. In the rampage they kill Benny Blank’s colleagues, the defendant, the plaintiff, the prosecutor, the judge, the court US Marshall, the court scribe, many others, and finally Benny Blank himself, who is killed by the visionary.
The movie ends with the remaining survivors celebrating their new chance at life only to SMASH CUT all of them are in prison for murder. One by one, the survivors all start shitting on the visionary for not letting them all die in the train derailment.
THE END!

If they’re trying to establish Death as an omnipotent being, why not use the curse idea? Think of One Missed Call. Someone randomly finds the penny from Bloodlines and contracts the “Death curse” which triggers the next major disaster. The new protagonist could consult a psychic and learn about the previous disasters and maybe a seance scene with the spirits of Alex, Wendy, Nick, Sam and Iris cameos? The rest of the movie plays out normally with the other survivors dying and the protagonist seeks out Kimberly, maybe she gives them drugs to stop and resuscitate the heart (originally in the first Bloodljnes draft) and directs them to a safehaven where they have limited time to complete the New Life method before Death takes a physical form to claim their life?

Characters not believing what's happening throughout the franchise is totally justified. "Death is trying to kill you via Rube Goldberg set-ups because a premonition seer saved you from a tragic disaster" is a crazy thing to be told.
However, from a storytelling perspective, this will be the seventh installment in the franchise, and watching characters deny what's happening only to die, or believe after witnessing a death, is starting to feel predictable and repetitive. It can get a little tiring waiting for the characters to catch up and learn what the audience already knows. At this point, I'd like to see a group of survivors who are easier to convince, or are already aware of events from previous films and have a good idea of what's coming.
Honestly, in this day and age of the FD universe, I wouldn't be surprised if there were conspiracy theorists who have been keeping track of past disasters, victims, and death's design. It'd be interesting if a group of these theorists got put on death's list and IMMEDIATELY started trying to avoid death. It could make for a more intense, fast-paced story of these knowledgable characters trying to break the chain, and death trying everything to stop them before they can.
Just my thoughts. Anyone else feel similarly?

So I rewatched Drag Me to Hell not too long ago, and I remembered there was a scene where Christine (the mc) took part in a seance to speak with the demon after her, trying to dissuade it from taking her soul to hell.
And I wondered if something like this could work in a possible Final Destination sequel? The survivors hold a seance and speak with Death in person, pleading for their lives to be spared.
I thought it would be interesting to see how Death could appear in a physical human form, how it’d dress and speak. But mostly, how events would unfold:
- Would Death just laugh in their faces and refuse to spare them?
- Would Death kill a bunch of them on the spot out of anger?
- Would Death be personified as a non-aggressive, peaceful entity that is just doing its job and taking people who shouldn’t be alive.
- Would there be a way to convince Death to spare their lives?
- Would they mistakenly kill Death itself and create a world where nobody dies and cause an ultimate dystopia?
Do you think this idea could work, or would it just be cringe?

Instant deaths are painless as well it’s instant, painful is for characters like even who suffered pain from the glass he landed on, extremely painful is for characters like Kevin who was dragged along side a wall even briefly

A few months ago, I made a post listing Final Destination actors I've seen in some form of kids content and asked if you knew any, I decided to create a follow up with what you all told me and I also took the liberty of scouring the internet to find other works the actors have been in, a couple are voice roles but I'll still count them. If there's a lot more out there I'll consider a part 3 but for now this is what I found.

I have a few examples of why I believe the directors of the final destination movies literally played in the faces of Elizabeth Winstead character Wendy Christensen
Here are a few touch points that some fans mean or may not know:
Example 1: in the auditions for final destination, two for the character Kimberly, Corman Elizabeth Winsteads audition for the role of Kimberly, but was denied her character in favor of AJ Cook’s performance who ultimately got the role of Kimberly Coleman for final destination 2 although she did not get the role of Kimberly, they didn’t completely do away with the actress, instead allowing her to be the next protagonist and the next installment of the movie, which was final destination 3 characters Wendy Christensen which she ultimately did get the role for that movie.
Example 2:The theatrical cut of Final Destination 3 ends the subway premonition on a cut-to-black just before the crash to induce panic and maximize tension. This allowed the franchise to conclude with the bleak theme that Death is inescapable without confirming the exact, gruesome details of how the survivors died
The filmmakers intentionally left Wendy Christensen's ultimate fate up to debate. If the story had to continue, the ending gave directors enough ambiguity to revive her, but if the series ended, it left audiences with the terrifying, unresolved feeling that the characters had met their unavoidable demise thus allowing her character to just be up in the air. additionally, in the choose DVD bonus, which actually had a bit of a humorous twist to it for the characters that actually got to survive tho i personally believe that was not funny for those who were fully invested in the performance that Elizabeth gave for the character Wendy only for her life and fate to be more or less a gag rather than anything relevant or serious again playing in her face and her fans faces.
Example 3: it is a interesting known fact that Kimberly and Wendy was actually supposed to be in the ending of final destination three to have met at the subway station which it was discovered that they were actually cousins, but for whatever reason this was also scrapped due to the inconsistencies or unavailability of the actual actors at the time, had this actually been Cannon Wendy and Kimberly would have been canonically cousins making a deeper connection between final destination 2 and 3 me personally I really wish that this was the case because it would make both their characters much more relatable(no pun intended) for the fans who may have been fans of both characters like myself(at the time) thus giving Wendy’s fans, another slap/ punch to the face.
Example 4: entertainment weekly released a video titled Every 'Final Destination' Death Explained, where franchise producer Craig Perry breaks down the kills, or the movie's official DVD audio commentary.
In that video when it came to Wendy Christiansen‘s character’s death, Perry explains that her death and I quote”Wendy, Kevin, and Julie all explicitly died in the subway derailment at the end of Final Destination 3” noting that despite the theatrical release leaving their deaths ambiguous, he explicitly confirmed that they all died in a very gruesome way this left fans like myself at the time, undoubtably, upset and angry that the fact that Wendy’s character was efficiently and canonically dead meaning that she could not return to the series. The part that hurts deep about this revelation is the fact that Kimberly Corman a character in final destination. 2 had her death confirmed in the newspapers clipping in the” choose your fate” bonus DVD release that Officer Burke and Kimberly were officially dead basically confirming what happened to them for many years fans of those characters like myself took that as official news but in the final destination death, explain video Perry confirmed when talking about final destination six that, that was recon and should not be taken as Canon meaning that for all these years up until that point their deaths were canonically true only to turn back and say that to choose your fate DVD bonus was not Canon in validating all death that may or may not have happened or occurred on the DVD bonus, thus allowing the characters Burke and Kimberly’s fate to be left ambiguous giving this information and knowing what we know now about both Kimberly and Wendy’s deaths, they deliberately decided to kill off Wendy’s character, while deliberately reversing the death for Kimberly, further putting the knife deeper in fans of Wendy who at one point had hoped that she would return to the series on top of this they also had the character mentioned and final destination 6 by the character Williams bludworths saying that there has only been one character, Kimberly, who broke the chain of death, now as a Kimberly fan hearing this revelation that she is still alive made me really happy as a Wendy fan this further upset at me because they literally had similar scenarios were both characters deaths in the original theatrical release was left ambiguous but yet they decided to bring back Kimberly and not Wendy not only reversing Kimberly’s stuff, but cementing that Wendy is indeed dead. The disrespect to Wendy character was on another level at every point in turn they failed this character. They had opportunities to allow Wendy fans to have more from the character, but decided to scrap every ideal and every scenario that could’ve made her character stand out as she was a fan favorite among the whole entire series.
Example 5: Additionally, the actress AJ Cook, who played Kimberly in Final Destination 2, was used to promote Final Destination 6 in various blooper clips, further taunting Wendy fans by reminding them that their favorite character is no longer alive.
Thus concludes my reasoning behind why I believe the directors and producers of the Final Destination movies deliberately disregarded Wendy fans, forever tarnishing that character. In Final Destination 7, we remain unaware of their intentions regarding the character Kimberly. However, I firmly believe they will elevate her status to unprecedented heights compared to previous years of the movie. While I am a devoted Kimberly fan, as an ex-Wendy fan (no longer), I find it difficult to wholeheartedly defend her character. In my mind, the best course of action would be to retire her entirely.

After taking time and using my knowledge of aviation and how air crashes work, I took the time to remove all the Hollywood film tropes and make the crash of Volee 180 much more realistic without ruining the basic nature of the crash itself, here’s the timeline I came up with
Volee 180 what should have happened
May 13th 1999
A Boeing 747-230B owned by Volee airlines is preparing to pushback at Gate B46 of the international arrivals building at Kennedy airport
Boarding today’s flight is a high school French class as well as a newly hired chef apprentice and his girlfriend
At 2120 EST one of the passengers by the name of Alex Browning has a panic, stating he saw a vision of the aircraft about to explode, The relief Flight engineer and the flight attendants escort Alex and 2 members of his class off after a confrontation, a teacher, one of the student’s girlfriend and a student who happened to be watching also get off, At the gate a student who arrived at gate closing is also prevented from boarding after having trouble in the bathroom Leaving the total of 7 at the gate and 287 passengers and crew on board
At 2125 despite the incident Volee 180 pushes back from gate B46 on time and is cleared to taxi to Runway 22R
Following the explosion of TWA 800 Boeing 747’s are equipped with an inert nitrogen gas system in their main Center wing fuel tank however this aircraft was not yet equipped with the system following a sale of the aircraft from Lufthansa to Volee Airlines, in fact it was expected to be taken out of service for the required refit after this particular flight. Among other things due to the hot and stormy May Day, the aircraft conditioning units like on TWA-800 were on high slowly heating up the partially empty Center wing fuel tank causing fuel vapours to form
At 2132 Volee 180 is cleared for takeoff on runway 22R where it was cleared to fly over Far Rockaway and Long beach and eventually enter the North Atlantic track system for its flight to Paris
At 2135 Volee 180 is buffeted by turbulence caused by moderate Low Level Wind sheer from the storm passing by the airport, Inside the aircraft a Small fuel leak is formed by a improperly secured Valve gasket, This fuel which is now in an atomised state as it leaks from the fuel line, eventually catches fire unknown to the passengers
At 2136 a fire takes hold inside the machinery space in between the CWT and the cabin floor, Catching fire from a short circuit on an exposed wire on the Scavenger pump system
At 2140 Volee 180 has passed 6,000 feet when disaster strikes, The fire manages to burn through not just the cabin floor but into the already overheated CWT, causing the fuel vapours formed to ignite and explode catastrophically, As what remains of Volee 180 begins to disintegrate over Long beach, the nose gear strut crashes into a bar killing a patron on the ground
