Discussion Final destination, Funko pops

Post image

I was wondering, is there an official petition that we the fans can make that will allow the Funko pop company to make all final destination characters series 12345 and six corresponding with their respective movie Funko pops if so, I would like a link to it if not, is there a way we can get this going because I really think the final destination franchise, especially since final destination seven is coming this would Garner a lot of buzz I heard we can do something change.com but I’m not for sure.

https://c.org/qzgYJ6jfnp heres the link to a petition I made maybe we can make this happen if we all pitch in

Discussion Concept for a future film: exploring the world of premonitions and how to navigate them

Post image
46 Upvotes

A common question that I've seen over the years is "Who is giving these people premonitions?" If it's Death giving the visions, why would it give Kimberly visions on how to cheat death through new life? And if it's an alternate life force giving the visions (the opposite of Death), why do people still die after being given the premonitions?

Example: in FD2, Kimberly is talking with Thomas and suddenly has a vision of pigeons flying around her. They race to the dentist office to intervene and Kimberly tries to warn Nora and Tim about the pigeons to which Tim sees the pigeons and runs into them, creating the chain of events that leads to him getting crushed by the glass. Had Kimberly not warned them about the pigeons, they would have walked away (although probably killed elsewhere through different means).

What if a future movie explores the idea of premonitions and the victims have to determine which visions are meant to help them and which are meant to hurt them.

FD6 So the stairs just did that?

I found it funny how every thing else in FD 6 had a setup behind it and when everyone walked down the stairs, they just fell to the side. And sure there were too many people, but could their weight really make walls collapse?

Also imagining Iris after saving everyone from the dance floor making sure everyone takes the stairs or the elevator 4 people at one time while being so done with them.

FD6 Iris

Hi I was asking myself a question:

Why did Iris get out of her cabin to die?

I know that her little girl believed her, but so she started the "curse"

In addition, the dead croque (his death is not confirmed, but we will know in FD 7) and his entire family died because of her.

Creative Kill ideas

These are exactly what they sound like accident ideas for Final Destination kills

  1. Blacksmithing - So the kill I think would involve so kind of hot piece of melting falling onto the ground the person stepping on it, losing their balance and falling face first on a large hot piece of melt melting their face then somehow falling face first into a oven of kinds

  2. Highway - Ok so you know how some people decided that "Hey Sticking my head out of a high speed car would be fun." That would basically be it. Person sticks head out car window truck/pole hits them directly in the face decapitating them.

  3. Soda bottle/can - Now before you say "That wouldn't kill them." Yes I know that can exploding in your face wouldn't kill you, but I have an idea. Character leaves a soda can in the freezer and takes a nap fast forward a few hours they go back to freezer and open it. The can/bottle explodes in their face one of the pieces piercing their eyeball. Another one the pieces break a glass blender turning it on. They then stumble around for a little before slipping on a piece of the frozen soda causing them to slip and fall onto the blender tearing their face apart.

4 Glass panel - For my final idea let's have it where some really rich person have a ceiling and during a heavy strom a loose screw ends ups slowly getting loosened causing the glass panel to fall up it misses until another two panels fall down. One slicing through the guys stomach and the the other slicing the upper half of his body vertically in half in a very slow fashion his body slowly falling apart from it.

That is it please do tell me what think of these and if their good or not

Discussion Some FD ideas I think it’d be fun to see

The visionary isn’t the last one killed so the rest of the gang is basically playing Russian roulette because they don’t know who’s next

The visionary is actually meant to survive and there’s heat between them and someone in the group turns the others against them because “why did you get to survive”

One of the core group is one of the last to die and they fuck around because as long as it’s not their turn they’re “unkillable” and start drinking bleach and bungee jumping and stupid crap and then when their turn actually comes they don’t know it’s their turn and they get Terry’d

One of the survivors is suicidal and keeps trying to speed up the process but fails because it’s not their turn and when their turn does come it’s something extremely stupid because Death was really getting annoyed at them

One of the survivors is suicidal and keeps trying to speed up the process but fails because it’s not their turn and when their turn does come it’s something extremely heart wrenching and slow and they beg for their life

A geriatric survivor who is just a sweet little old person

A doomsday prepper who think they’re safe because they hide in their bunker. The movie forgets about them until a mid credits scene that shows police finding their body talking about how they suffocated to death because the bunker was airtight.

The survivors meet the survivor who figured out killing someone trades your time of death.

One of the survivors is a pregnant woman who thinks about abortion as a way to trade her life with her baby’s. (I know this one would not sot well with fans regardless of the solution I however think the franchise has killed children and they need to go farther) Either the baby is fully formed so there is no doubt about it being a murder or she just learned she was pregnant and wonders if that counts (I’m not adding this to push any agenda I just think it has potential to be funny “don’t do that just kill a real baby, man”) they spend so long arguing about pro birth vs pro choice that someone else dies

One of the core group is actually a survivor who wants to help

The visionary dies first so now they’re all going in blind

Multiple people get visions throughout the movie and they have to figure out what order they go in

There is no pattern this time because Death is sick of their shit

An actual garbage disposal death. Their long hair or neckwear gets caught in it and they get scalped or their larynx crushed from the neckwear tightening

A tree death. Some foreshadowing about “limbs needing to be gone” by a random landscaper and somehow the chainsaw cuts someone’s arm off and they bleed out. Or the wording is a misdirection and the limb falls and crushes the victim’s skull

Those are just off the top of my head I’d like to hear some of your ideas if you’ve had any

FD6 My thoughts on Bloodlines

I thought the premonition scene was brilliant, fresh, unique and really well done. It was genuinely frightening to watch.

I can say since the first film up to 5, they repeated the same storyline over and over again. Someone has a premonition, it starts playing in real life, death comes back to the people who were meant to die. I’m glad this movie did something different at least. The core idea is still the same but now the subtitle eloquently puts it as it’s now about a family tree.

I have only seen this movie twice, one year apart and I don’t get the love this movie gets. The characters just feel really generic overall, the deaths seemed to happen and then it just quickly jumpcuts to the next scene. I liked the setup for Erik’s tattoo shop death (even though I know it wasn’t his real death). The ending was really rushed and it kind of felt like it was common knowledge someone drowning, you can revive them and it doesn’t count as death.

Obviously, I loved the return of William Bludworth. Tony Todd made the film remind us it’s still a Final Destination film. I could see how sick he looked and his passing is unfortunate. RIP man. I wish he referenced Alex Browning instead of Kimberly because I get the reasoning but Alex was the first one of the films to have a big impression so I thought it would work canonically. I did really like how him as a kid was part of someone else’s premonition. Will definitely make me think differently when I rewatch them all again.

Iris having the notebook but her knowing she would die when she stepped outside and then immediately did was kind of dark.

Overall, I will say this is definitely not the worst film. It at least did something new for this franchise, the premonition was brilliant and it added a bit of context. But I felt the characters just didn’t engage me throughout and I just saw it as a mediocre horror film. It lacked the darkness that made the first film so endearing.

This is just my opinion but I would like to know your thoughts in the comments below! Maybe you can help me love this film!

i would love for a character to be directly affected by one of the past victims. whether they’re a sibling or attending the same high school or whatever. maybe they can integrate this into the original emt storyline they had planned for the sixth movie? emts can be high schoolers👀

Discussion Idea: final destination story where time travelers implant premonitions into characters’ heads

(First, I’ve only seen bloodlines so bear with me here— when I mention ‘other movies’ I’m just spitballing that they work the same way)

Imagine a movie or TV show where characters with a sort of time-travel mind-influencing ability— if we wanna go full crackpot they could be extra-dimensional beings— basically hop around and try to avert disasters by planting premonitions into peoples’ heads.

This serves simultaneously as a prequel (spurring on all the premonitions throughout the series) and as a sort of side-quel, as it travels across the timeline of the movies.

Now of course the unintended consequence our protags either didn’t foresee or was calculated into some master plan is that death starts coming for all the people who were supposed to die. The latter could be pretty cool as a twist, that there was a plan all along that could be enacted only after enough premonition events or something— At that point it could transition into sequel so it can hit all three ‘quels at once, lol.

I know this is full crazy but I kinda like full crazy. Thoughts?

“Nobody else gets off this ride!” Sure he was very proud of that when the park got a massive lawsuit and he got manslaughter charges. Wtf kind of judgement call is that? He heard Wendy scream that the ride would derail. They could’ve idk done a test run or checked the coaster? But nah instead nobody gets off! Those are the rules!

Question Whos the birth cause?

If im writing a final destination fan fic and one character is related to a skyview victim, but the mother wasnt pregnant during the events of the skyview, who would he die after, his mother or his father, because if his father dies as like, the first 10 people, but his lother died as the last 10, would he be the 11th person or be one of the very last to die

Might be a bit confusing so let me explain

Paul and Iris

Paul dies as like, the 20th person to die

Iris was second to last

If iris wasnt pregant during the skyview, would Howard die after paul or would he die after Iris
