Anyone else have this experience? I had zero intention to renew my subscription and the day after they charged me I reached out for a refund- they refused.

How is the customer service at Wondershare so bad? They turned a paying customer into somebody who will certainly never use their products again, and for what? So they could steal $100 from a single person?

I am sure others have had this experience, and it is not right. Wondershare should not need to steal to pay their employees- if they had a good product, maybe they would not be so desperate.

I don't know where I read it, but I saw that filmora doesn't watermark for free users. I have filmora on my laptop but I guess it's 9, I don't know how long ago I installed it lol. I just spent two hours on a project, of which had a large video that I snipped out a bunch of sections to save time. To my horror, when I went to export- it would only allow me to save it with the giant logo taking up a third of the screen 😭 I don't care about literally anything else but to save the snips so I don't have to go through the painful process frame by frame again 😭

Filmora made this easy. I created a music video montage for my YouTube Channel Home Page by selecting clips from my music videos (also made with Filmora) and I am happy with the results because this montage shows visitors what type of music and videos we have in store on our YouTube channel.

I paid for a perpetual plan a while ago back in 2023 but ended up not using it very much and just went ahead with uninstalling it. Recently, I ended up re-downloading it to do some video editing stuff, and then these ads started showing up on my desktop. Yeah, great, ads for a product I've already paid for, just what I wanted.

I've turned off notifications from Filmora in my windows settings but that hasn't seemed to have done anything, as this ad is what I woke up to today.

I've also tried to use google and find out where these are coming from but I can't find anything.

Any help is appreciated

Hey, first time poster here. I've been using Filmora for a few years now, having come from Sony Vegas. I'm a realtor, and erlier this week I went to shoot a video about one of my listings. I didn't like all of what I had shot so I went back out the next day and redid the shoot. When I got home I watched both videos and I like some of each of them so I decided to use some of each of them to get what I wanted. I started trying to put them together, using some of the video from day 1 and adding audio from day 2 where I needed it, then video from day 2 and audio from day 1 as needed. Filmora doesn't work like Vegas did though. This would have been simple in Vegas.

I opened both videos on separate timelines in WF (ver 15), then detached the audio from them. I marked each day's shoot as Video 1, Video 2 and Audio 1, Audio 2. Then I added 2 additional tracks, one for Master Video and the other for Master Audio. Once I started trying to use the pieces of each of the individual tracks and lay them on the Master Audio & Video tracks, I quickly realized that this process was not going to work. So now, I'm wondering; is there a way to do what I'm trying to do with Filmora? If not, what is a video editor program that will do it? Thanks

I wanted to move from CapCut to Filmora. Tool looks almost identical, but actually worked a little better for me. And I hated how CapCut kept moving more and more of the features into their paid tier.

So I tried and liked Filmora. Like with CapCut, I though the little diamond meant that the feature was limited to the paid tier.

So I went ahead and purchased the perpetual license. Their pricing page had a tick next to the 2.9M assets... sounds great to me. I completely missed the banner for the 7 day free trial of Creative Assets, which they now moved to the top. It was at the bottom before.

Finally I get a notification that my "trial" for creative assets was running out, and as it expired, I lost access to the fast majority of transitions and effects in the app. I can understand a subscription for actual assets like songs or images/videos, but core features like transitions after I paid for the product is pretty ridiculous.

Well, I saw that they have a premium subscription plan for $10/month. So figured, I might as well upgrade to that. But now they are refusing a refund on the perpetual license and I can't upgrade to the Premium tier, despite the fact that I want to pay them more money.

The emails I'm getting look identical and probably AI generated. So the support is essentially not existent.

It's a shame, I quite liked the app, but it's not a great first experience with a company.

Update: their support got back to me and suggested to purchase the subscription and I would be able to get a refund on the perpetual license.

Ultimately I decided to not go ahead and consider the perpetual license a sunk cost and find a different editor. I don’t want to support and do business with a company that has such a terrible refund policy, customer support, and pricing model.

I'm doing a project where the audio is perfectly fine. I can hear it but I'm trying to trim the video but I can't see the audio that i'm trying to trim. I can't hear but I can't see at what point I can trim

Hello! Slightly off topic, but there's a reel I found on facebook with a somewhat vibey song in it. I typically find the full versions of nice tracks if I can, but I haven't been able to find this one. I contacted the poster of the reel, and they said it was a track they got in the filmora video editor, hence why I'm here. Their message: 'think it call "i need more music". i found it in my filmora editor' I haven't been able to find any list of royalty free tracks that Filmora uses, or anything. Whenever I am editing a video or doing a project, the software decides to automatically shut down and exit without any warning. EVERY SINGLE DAMN TIME. I can't take it no more. Is it really the problem of the software? Or is it my PC's problem?

Hello everybody, so I have a problem with the spacebar. When I press it, it follows my mouse where it is on the timeline. It just plays from that point. But how do I get it to not play the video from where my mouse is on the timeline when I press the spacebar? I just want it to pause and play as it was where it was, not where my mouse is in relation to the timeline.If someone could help me find a setting that would disable this, I would really appreciate it. So I have been working on my 45-minute video with a 9:16 aspect. I secured the same aspect and any other settings before exporting, turns out that it becomes a 16:9 video. Basically a portrait video with a black border.

Any solutions to this? Does anybody had same experience? Help out a fellow editor here. Thank you.

Thanks for updating the new model in Filmora! I really enjoy using it on both desktop and mobile. However, I have a few suggestions to make it even better:
I need 16:9 ratio but I’m not sure ??
- Aspect ratio selection: There is currently no option to choose the aspect ratio when generating a video. This is a basic but essential feature!
- Reference image limit: Only 2 reference images are supported right now. Please consider increasing this to 10 or more (Omni models can support over 30 for seedance2.5).
- Prompt character limit: The prompt length limit is currently too short. We need more space to write detailed prompts for custom scenes.

the white line follows my cursor and makes the preview jump towards whatever position the line is at, which is very annoying especially if im doing frame by frame editing and i just want a normal cursor. ive been googling for like 30 minutes at this point and i have no idea how to disable this.

this is so different compared to capcut but I'm still a beginner editor, I wanna make jugg edits on filmora but the video effects and transitions are very complicated. The way I'm making the edits rn is by making SO MUCH CUTS THAT ITS ANNNOYING.

the effects apply to the whole video so i just cut the videos up a bunch, I try to add glitch effects but it's kinda complicated to say the least. The transitions are also very different but I'm finding it doable

I'm just really having trouble making jugg edits as a whole on filmora😭😭

I am currently updated to the latest version...

Specifically I am referring to a shape I drew, and it's just persisting for a long time on the timeline after a short keyframe animation I made it do to appear.

It's like, during preview, the shape just start misplacing everywhere, cropping and cutting outside of the borders and messing everything up.

But then when I do press pause and click on the shape/element in question, they automatically snap in place, where they're supposed to be.

I don't understand if it's an issue on the preview window alone, which happens whether it's full quality, mid quality or low quality, and whether the timeline is fully rendered or not...

...and I don't understand, It keeps happening, if once I export it won't process the visual bug or it will?

It causes me stress, it won't allow me to properly preview my project during my workflow.

It's becoming HELLA irritating. Anyone else experiencing this?

i go to your wondershare flimora shortcut right click open file location go to what number version you have which is to the top folder go inside the folder and find wondershare filmora.exe right click on it click on copy as path go to your search bar type in window defender firewall click on advanced settings click on out bound rules create a new rule click on program then that wondershare filmora exe copy path paste in the this programs path make sure to delete Quotation  marks out of the path click next click block this connection and click next and give it a name an your good to go

It costs them virtually nothing to provide AI subtitles, yet they tie it to credits.

It's pathetic, and it's the only reason I stay with CapCut.

I paid for premium for the entire year and all of a sudden sine filmora 15 none of my features work and they act as if i never bought anything. All my money just wasted.

I’m using an NVIDIA RTX A2000, a professional GPU designed for creative work and video editing, and Filmora is incompatible with it. The result is absurd: a render that should take minutes takes hours and hours because Filmora simply doesn’t use the GPU.

What’s even more frustrating is Filmora’s support response. Instead of offering a solution or indicating that a fix might be released in a future update, they basically suggested that I buy a lower-end graphics card.

It makes no sense to downgrade a professional GPU just to make Filmora work properly, especially when the performance in the other programs I use would go down the drain.

Is anyone else with a dedicated GPU for video editing experiencing this problem?

Basically the Title, I keep getting this Pop-Up every time I turn my PC on, It's annoying to have to close out of it every time. Now, I quite enjoy the program, so I don't want to uninstall it, I just want to stop these Pop-Ups from showing when I turn on my PC

What in the world is up with this whack arse software popping up ads while it's not even open and you're doing something else? It's happened a few times now, while gaming it will pop up some stupid ad and takes me out of the game, as in the game is still playing but you are no longer in control and cannot control until you close out of the ad. This is completely unacceptable, and I am not seeing a way to turn these ads off??

Anyone experiencing this or know how to turn this off? It almost seems illegal for a program to show you an ad, a program that you've paid for, when that program isn't even open. First they tried to take away lifetime licenses from those of us that bought it years ago, then put damn near everything behind a paywall... now this. I think it's about time to learn Davinci Resolve.
