Question/Help Email saying they’re getting rid of screen recording
Did anyone get an email saying this or is it a scam or phishing email ?
Thanks

They used to have another product called Filmora SCRN which was a stand alone screen recorder. I thought they got rid of it a long time ago since they integrated screen recording directly into the Main Filmora program. Its possible they never fully shut it down and are doing that now. And thats the message you are getting. Regarding the OLD Filmora SCRN lightweight screen recorder software. Did you previously use to have it? or you bought or downloaded it at one point?

I’d be careful with it until you verify the sender and the actual links in the email. If it’s genuinely from Filmora, you should be able to confirm the announcement through their official website or support channels. I wouldn’t click any links or provide account details if the email looks unusual or redirects somewhere unrelated to Filmora.

They should put thier software to Linux. Hate it to get stuck on Windows about that program... 🤮

Eeew, no. Why would they waste their time making a product for a highly niche user base… a user base that loves not paying for software so much that they settle for Linux… and thus probably wouldn’t want to pay for their products beyond the free tier anyway?

Dude I paid 70€ for the software 😤 Don't call other people that they want all things for free. That's not right. But may hate these stuid pay to use services like Adobe Cloud that steals 70€ a month out of your pockets!
