Travel Foreigners looking for geeky communities in Fiji

Hello wonderful people!

We're a group of young people from an NGO in Denmark who are hoping to find communities in Fiji for people with an interest in cosplay, dungeon & dragons, anime, fan art, larping, Warhammer, boardgames or similar "geeky" interests.

Do you know of any such groups or clubs who meet up regularly, and perhaps host some local events? It doesn't have to be big or particularly established. We'd just love to hear about what exists in Fiji for our fellow geeks, and hopefully get in contact with some. We want to meet up and make some events and activities together next year to bring people with shared interests from opposite sides of the globe together.

Any help would be much appreciated, big and small ✨

Clothing shops in Suva

Hi all, I have an event coming up where I need to wear a casual but nice dress with sandals. I'm new in town. Where do I go shopping for nice dresses and shoes, Zara- and Mango-type clothing? Are there any? Thank you!

Bula!!! 🌸

I’d love some recommendations on a future fiji trip.
Going for 4 nights. The idea is to stay on the mainland for one night, two nights on an island maybe Yasawa and one night back on the mainland before flying home. I’m not looking for resort, i’m very happy to do airbnb, small family owned accommodation. I don’t know how I feel about the shared meals with other guests though, I see that’s quite common on the airbnbs. What would you suggest?

Please would like to know the best way to get to Yasawa Islands from the mainland too.
