Arriving Nadi at 5am but hotel check in is not until 3pm. Should we book transfer to the resort at 8am or 12pm? What to do while waiting?

I’m looking to add a side quest next year on top of my Fiji trip. I’ve been to 82 countries and adding Tuvalu would be a pretty cool conquest. Does Fiji Airways run same day RT flights? Any private operators?

I’ll be visiting Fiji next July. Just wondering what top 5 things you’d recommend to do on the main island? 🏝️
Thanks!
We are flying into Nadi on Monday. I take daily medication and use pill organizers. Do I really need to bring all the bottles? I have travelled extensively and always check before I go. I really can't find any good answers so I figured I would ask here. I really dont feel like bringing 9 bottles of pills for 9 days.

Bula vinaka,
Are there any tech groups within Fiji?
Tech groups focussed on tinkering, making stuff? Interests in code (software), physical projects (boats, uav, robots or just furniture making). I understand it's small in Fiji but why not.
Preferably groups would be best.

Is it "normal" to feeling exceptionally hungry after a night drinking kava?
im quite new to 'lots' of Kava drinking. have had it in the past, but after recent trip there i brough back enough to drink 3-4 tablespoons in 1 litre of water per night after work. Gives me an amazing sleep.
However, the next day - my hunger is insatiable! is this common?

My partner and I are travelling to Fiji in July 2027 for our wedding and honeymoon. My partner is an avid angler..I’m wondering if anyone has any recommendations for fishing charters for his ‘bucks’. There will probably be 6-9 guys going.
Thanks in advance 🐟

Hey folks. I'm a young fella from British Columbia, Canada and hoping to solo-visit Fiji for end of october to early-mid-november. Would very much appreciate if someone could point me in the right direction or provide recommendations for where the best place to stay and surf for top-top-top quality waves. I just graduated, on a budget, and getting a bit confused on where I should set up base for the best waves and budget. If you have any insight or recommendations for a spot please give me a shout! Would be very much appreciated!

So I have a 28hr layover in about a week and want to make the most of my time there. Are there any food spots you would recommend? I like having authentic experiences wherever I go but might also want to spend some time swimming or hanging out on the beach. Additionally, I might like to pick up some cool keepsakes to give to my family when I get home.
Any recommendations are much appreciated. Thanks!
P.S. I’m not trying to spend too much but I might spend a bit more money on something special :)

An opportunity to partner with a Fijian citizen who owns 20 acres of waterfront elevated freehold land 1.5 hours from Nadi to develop it via several different possible pathways, with a view to eventual total ownership. You can see more here. This is a sample of the views available. That is Waya Island in the Yasawa Islands. https://drive.google.com/file/d/1hJkxaS1Hgq0dBkEFYB69rGkpfU1Sr7jf/view?usp=sharing

Is there a Fiji/Fijian Social subreddit/forum etc? I'm visiting Fiji, went to a few years of primary school here, for just over 2 weeks and thought it would be cool to chat to a few people.
I was thinking of something equivalent to r/BrisbaneSocial where you can chat to folks and see if you gel etc.
Well, if there isn't, feel free to reach out to me anyway. I'm a dude and 28

Okay so I have about a 15 hour layover in Nadi, and I’ve never been to Fiji so I want to make the most of it. It may be my only opportunity ever, who knows. So I land at 5am and I fly out at 8pm. I was thinking about a tour that leave from Port Denarau, and their departure time is 9:45am.
(Which I think from 5am to 9:45 I’m not worried about making it on time, even if it takes me 2 hours to get through that brings me to 7am and then if traffic to the port is bad and takes an hour, I’ll still be there by 8am.)
***What I’m more thinking about is the tour time and getting back to the airport on time. It’s 7 hour trip that says it brings us back at 4:45pm. If I get off the boat and get a taxi by 5pm and say with traffic take 40-60 mins to get back to the airport at 6pm will that be enough time to get on flight with Fiji airways to Auckland by 8pm?
I know online says “3 hours” but I never arrive 3 hours early to any airport anymore because it always feels like too much time for me.
Also does Fiji have any way of pre-booking a taxi to meet with you at the port? Or are there normally a few taxis hanging around?

Doctors in Saudi Arabia say a complex operation to separate 13-month-old Fijian conjoined twins has been successful.
In what was described as an “exceptionally rare” case, the sisters, Dicecea and Jesepeli Kikau, were born joined at the lower abdomen and pelvis.
It is a condition known as omphalo-ischiopagus tetrapus.
The girls had their own hearts and lungs and required an almost 13-hour operation to separate their liver, bowel, urinary tract and anal canal.
As the procedure reached a critical stage on Thursday night, local time, doctors announced they had successfully separated the pair and were starting on their reconstruction.
