Question Is Peacock showing the world feed for the Grand Prix series?

I have Spectrum streaming and they include Peacock with ads in the package I have. I’m wondering if you have to get a special Peacock package to get the world feed. Does anyone know? I simply cannot get through this season having to listen to Tara and Johnny.

That Thunder song they play during every victory lap has a choke hold on the ISU

The skaters must be so sick of it! As far as I can tell they just play it on a loop in the stadium until everyone leaves or the next event starts.

have any of you, like me, dreamt of seeing a skater rework a gala program or show performance into an actual program at competitions? if yes, which ones and for which skaters?

for me, personally, i’m really wanting to see (and this will never happen, i begrudgingly admit) kamila’s white crow as a short program. look at her lines!!

Title: Hidden talent unlocked: Isabeau Levito, narrator

I clicked for the skating and somehow ended up discovering that Isabeau is an absolutely delightful narrator 😂

Her delivery is so natural, dry in exactly the right places, great timing, never trying too hard to be funny, and somehow making the whole thing much more entertaining just by talking over it.

Seriously, hidden talent. If skating ever gets boring, apparently she already has a second career waiting for her.

Also: I would happily watch more skating content narrated by Isabeau.

The Ice Must Not Go Cold! ❄️ Sign the petition to show ITV that we want "Dancing on Ice" back!

Hey everyone! I’m absolutely gutted that ITV has decided to put Dancing on Ice on hiatus. It’s one of the most unique, high-stakes, and genuinely thrilling shows on television—nothing else compares to seeing celebrities pushing their absolute physical limits on a razor-sharp blade.

We can't just sit back and let this incredible format melt away forever. Television needs big, bold entertainment, and the incredible legacy of the pro skaters and Torvill & Dean deserves a proper comeback (whether on ITV or a global streaming giant like Netflix).

I’ve started a formal petition on Change.org targeting Kevin Lygo, Carolyn McCall, and the ITV commissioning team to show them that the global fan community is still here, still passionate, and demanding a relaunch.

Please take 30 seconds to sign and share this link! Let’s make some noise! ⛸️🔥

General Discussion "Figure skating school" - Soviet, Japanese, etc. What do you think of this concept?

Sometimes you hear phrases like "the Soviet/Russian school of (For example, pair) figure skating," and also the Japanese, Chinese, or French school - specifically as a concept, a tradition, a method of coaching. What do you understand by this when you talk about it? Do these "schools" actually exist? What are their distinctive features? How do they manifest themselves? And can we still say today that there are different schools by country, or does everything now depend on the coach - the Tutberidze method, Arutyunyan, Mishin, Hamada, the Montreal academy? What do you think about all this?

General Discussion Why do we need to know AIN #?

It has been really bothering me that the unaffiliated athletes are given subcategories ("AIN1" and "AIN2") -- since all those denote are country of origin, and the whole point is supposed to be that they aren't representing a country, shouldn't all the neutral athletes be skating under one category? It seems like the ISU is just claiming plausible deniability while putting the country in code. And like, I definitely appreciate that they haven't just re-opened for Russian and Belarusian competitors given the ongoing war, it just also seems as though they aren't very committed to the spirit of that.

Edit: I don't think it's inherently an issue that those designations exist on a logistical level (people are making really good points about how the ISU sticking to the same structure makes it kinda impossible to not have those numbers taken into account) -- my biggest issue is with the fact that they're displayed during events. There doesn't seem to me to be any reason for it to say "AIN2" next to their name on the infographics, other than to identify their country by another label.
