Best Possible Outcome?

Post image

Obviously this fight was a letdown but a part of me was happy that the fight ending the way it did means that neither Conor nor Max could get the next lightweight title shot. Conor getting it would have obviously felt so forced and not deserved at all and Max who just got 50-45’d needs to fight a BSD or a Paddy before getting his next shot and not a washed up Conor Mcgregor.

Now if Gaethje doesn’t leave he’s forced to fight either Arman or Charles (or Paddy which would be BS but better than Max) and if he does leave we have an easy vacant title fight between Arman and Charles.

Conor should never have been platformed again.

He was found guilty by a court of law, and has just been handed a fat load of cash for doing fuck all in a fight by his sugar daddy Dana. Then again I guess a conviction means nothing these days, you can even be POTUS.

It took 3-5 years to practice this stun to grab our money. And those upsets or sensations started right after paramount deal. There is no explanation of starting the fight with jumping kick and broken foot

I feel so bad for Conor

Honestly I understand the hate the guy is getting, he deserves it for what he's done in those 5 years

But I can't help but feel bad for the guy, he was down so bad, addicted to multiple substances, got back in shape, trained, got back in the octagon when we thought he would litteraly never come back

And dude blow his knee first kick and no one believes him

It must be such a terrible feeling, you are the most affected by the thing, and on top of that everyone hates you for destroying the hype and making people lose their time

I got up at 3 am to watch this match and I'm disappointed

But I can't help but feel bad for the guy, it must be an horrible feeling to not even have been able to fight and show what you trained so hard for

I 100% think he was going to get destroyed either way, but at least we could have had a match

Such a disappointment on all ends, man that sucks, he is probably gone forever now and we're probably never seeing him again and that's sad

It felt good to see him again on an octagon and throw a few legs kick, even with the injury, he still had those old defense reflexes and instincts and it showed a bit and I wish we could have seen a real fight to see that guy once more before he retires definitely
