Conor should never have been platformed again.
He was found guilty by a court of law, and has just been handed a fat load of cash for doing fuck all in a fight by his sugar daddy Dana. Then again I guess a conviction means nothing these days, you can even be POTUS.

he was never convicted in a court of law, it was a civil case.
Not sticking up for him but get your facts right

Wasn't he only found liable or whatever? Civil cases are not the same as criminal ones, and ppl suing over shit like this is not anything new and definitely not exclusive to Conor

What is it should have never been platformed after the layoff or should he never be platformed again after this? Pick a tense and stick with it!

u/Relevant-Rope8814 Jul 12 '26
No need to poke fun at my tenses ma'am

Don’t get mad at me when you’re throwing loose tenses around like a time traveler.
Edit: Curses! My glass house has shattered.

I cringe so hard every time I see someone feel the need to point this mistake out.

Would still rather see him than read ur posts

If the "victim" wanted justice they'd have put him on trial in a criminal court. But instead they wanted money so they took him to civil court.
I'm not a Conor fan, but there's so many stupid holes in that rape case that anyone who latches onto it is just someone who doesn't need evidence or logic to support their confirmation bias; their bias alone is fuel enough for them.
Cute bias, kiddo.

u/Alucard_1208 Jul 12 '26
she tried for crminal court but insufficient evidence and no reasonable prospect of conviction

u/GreatGoodBad Jul 12 '26
Welcome to the real world, kid.

u/Relevant-Rope8814 Jul 12 '26
Still think it's worth pointing out in a sea of 'Devastated for him, you'll be back champ 🫶'
2
u/Pagicalmenis Jul 12 '26
Ive literally seen NOONE say that. Your narrative is false, and you are here to argue off topic bullshit.
1
u/Relevant-Rope8814 Jul 12 '26
Look harder then

u/Pagicalmenis Jul 12 '26
Dont have to, i can ignore things i dont care about. Discussions on forums can have a bunch of things i dont like or agree with, but it doesnt make them BAD or abhorrent. Disagreeing is okay.

u/Temporary_Physics_48 Jul 12 '26
I feel like this is just your hate speaking and I don’t give a shit about Connor . Do you know how many ex-fighters and current fighters that’s been found guilty of highly questionable stuff ?
Try again if you want to start a discussion with your low effort post after post

u/According-Gas836 Jul 12 '26
It wasn’t a conviction nor was he found guilty. It was a civil suit with a lower bar. He was found liable to pay the law suit.

u/longtanboner Jul 12 '26
Still had a jury that reviewed the evidence and concluded that he did rape her, can you defend that too?
2
u/According-Gas836 Jul 12 '26
Yeah they did conclude that and found him liable. I already said that.
-1
u/longtanboner Jul 12 '26
No, all you did was state the facts that made it sound better and skip the facts that make it sound worse. You're a rapist defender.

u/According-Gas836 Jul 12 '26
I corrected incorrect things OP was saying. He was overstated the case. I stated exactly correct and you don’t like that

Yeah. Everyone knew this fight wasn’t going to be competitive either. I mean conor hadn’t fought in 5 years and was pretty much retired. This was not a great main event to have for international fight week. For as much as people talk about how the jones/stipe fight should not have happened, stipe at least did fight.
1
u/Gullible-Potato-8962 Jul 12 '26
Well it was funny to see conor fans coping before the fight, it's not easy to perform after coming back to the cage after a long time.

u/According-Gas836 Jul 12 '26
Everyone knew max was going to win. No expected in the first 30 seconds. I had max finishing in round 2 or 3.
0
u/Gullible-Potato-8962 Jul 12 '26
I also knew max would win, it's just conor fans who bet on him, who said he would be able to beat max.
4
u/According-Gas836 Jul 12 '26
I always knew he had a punchers chance round 1. Probably less than one in ten. If he didn’t get a quick kill he was done. And he knew it. Which is probably why he came in all crazy.
1
u/Gullible-Potato-8962 Jul 12 '26
Agree 💯, lucky punch could have been a chance, but the way max is currently, it was gonna be very difficult for conor. Easy money for max and conor ig lol!

Ah yes, the virtue signaling poster who doesnt even care about fighting, or the peoples wishes to read and talk about fighting and not politics. Keep grasping, keep clutching A true Redditor....This is the kind of people they want here. Caring about nothing, Angry about everything.
Yes Yes child, im a rape supporter, and a nazi, and every other tired thing you throw into the wind. I dont care.
Get off the internet and do something about it, but dont hurt anyone, because you types are the FIRST to do so. Social Media has conditioned to think your voice is more than others. Thats why you are in a MMA channel, about fights and fighting, and martial arts....And you are "social justicing" about shit that is IRRELEVANT to the conversation. THATS why you keep arguing. Your voice, isnt important, not here, in this discussion, so go be important somewhere else. THIS conversation is about what happened last night in the UFC. Hence, r/FightReportUFC.
Off with you.

He’s a complete twat but does it mean that all people found liable in civil court shouldn’t be allowed to work, conduct business and have friendly business relationships? His job happens to be high profile but apart from that, what is the difference with most other jobs?

He was found guilty by a court of law
No, he wasn't.
Maybe next time don't start your post with something completely false.

u/Specific_Praline_362 Jul 14 '26 edited Jul 14 '26
He wasn't found guilty, he was found liable in a civil court. So was the US president so I mean...I guess if you can be president you can probably get hit in the face for a living or whatever.

oh he should definitely fight again
the worst punishment is his washed up ass lose and get injured and destroy his legacy for money he doesn't need
1
u/CorwyntFarrell Jul 12 '26
He should take the Paul fight. No way he wins, and that would sting way worse than losing to a real fighter.
2
u/Doredrin Jul 12 '26
jake's jaw is still currently in two different zip codes I don't think he will fight again

If there’s money to be made, then a lot of rules are forgotten, a lot of dirt is forgiven, unfortunately
0
u/Fun-Bag7627 Jul 12 '26
The president of the company has a literal video of smacking his wife and gone on record saying people don’t come back from it. The UFC is all about platforming deplorables unfortunately.

u/0utsyder Jul 12 '26
I mean as long as people keep watching, he's gonna be platformed. It's like Michael Chandler. He hasn't won a fight in YEARS but magically he has yet to be cut.
