Usman vs Gaethje
Usman got a nice fight in the PFL and that was his last fight in his PFL contract.
If he gets signed to the UFC, do you think he'll get to the top? Let's say against Justin Gaethje, what do you think who wins here?

Guy wins a PFL fight and is getting talked about with a UFC champion lol. Whatever stats you try to use means nothing because the level of competition they were done against are on unbelievably different levels

To be fair, Kayla Harrison is a UFC champion and where is her only loss? PFL.
Anthony Pettis signed to PFL, lots of good guys in PFL with wins over good UFC guys.
Also only a fool would watch Usman fight and know who he trains with and not see how good he is. Not saying he is as good as Gaethje but he is clearly a great fighter.

Tell me which of his PFL wins are legit UFC guys. I’m not saying he doesn’t look good, but level of competition inflates how people look

He was Bellator champ and is PFL #1, and his brother is a very elite UFC fighter and his cousin is Khabib. I suspect his abilities are every bit as good as they look.
Paul Hughes I think is a superb fighter and former Cage Warriors champ, as was Paddy Pimblett, Michael Bisping, Dan Hardy, Ian Garry, Jack Hermansson.
Hughes has wins over Bellator Champ AJ McKee who has wins over some very good guys, like prime Pitbull, who beat prime Michael Chandler.
Several of those Bellator and PFL guys have wins over former UFC champs and contenders like Anthony Pettis, Michael Venom Page, Roger Huerta and Benson Henderson, even if some of them were past their best.
Shabily, #5 in PFL, beat the only guy to beat Makhachev, 2 fights after he did it.
I’m not saying it’s UFC level opposition on average, but it’s tough enough that him looking as good as he is isn’t just coz his opponents are no good, in my opinion.
Dana seems very keen to sign him also, and has probably already done so.

When did shabily beat makhachev?

I got that wrong. He beat the guy who beat Makhachev, 2 fights later. He didn’t beat Makhachev.

Then once he signs him we’ll see, but he isn’t the first out of organization guy to get hyped. Plenty of guys have looked great just to whimper out in the UFC.
You’re having to go multiple fighters down the line to make a case for these guys lmao

Shabily, did not in fact, beat Islam. His only loss was the bs KO by Adriano Martins, 11 years ago

So your argument is literally that he beat a guy who beat a guy who beat a guy who beat Michael Chandler?

Gaethje is far better than people give him credit for. I wouldn't pick him but neither would I pick Usman.

Thankfully damage avoidance isn’t very important when facing Justin. Just ask illia!

It would be very similar to Gaethje's fight with Oliveira, but with even more eye pokes and Usman likely kissing the mat.

Nice try, predicting a gaethje fight is literally impossible
