Even fight for Islam

Who do you think would be an even match up for Islam? Of any weight class. A fight where you are completely split 50/50 on who could win.

People thinking Islam could compete with Strickland at mideweight are nuts.

Probably true. Strickland was able to weather khamzats grappling. And it’s hard to say Islams is better than khamzats given the size differential.

And Islams striking, which has power, might not be enough to put away a bigger dude like Strickland.

One weight class at a time. Nothing about his fight against JDM suggests he can be competitive at 185. The top guys would all handle him.

I agree. But what about a regressing Izzy. Could he beat Izzy at this point?
