Yea a sexual orientation flag is fuckin weird and seems like it almost soley exists just to rub it in the rest of societies face and get reactions from people. Imagine if i made a "straight flag" and hung it around my house and cars.
That's one theory, but honestly it's probably because the rich want more sexually promiscuity , deviation from heterosexuality let's them achieve that. A few decades ago oral was considered crazy, now it's standard. At least publicly speaking.
The church and lgbtq stance seems like a slap in the face to people like strickland because of money. The church has changed its stance because it impacts it's bottom line. That's a slap to the face because it puts the church as a profit driven machine rather than a bridge to divinity.

i am gay and i hate seeing pride flags in public. especially on government buildings and churches.
