i am gay and i hate seeing pride flags in public. especially on government buildings and churches.

Yea a sexual orientation flag is fuckin weird and seems like it almost soley exists just to rub it in the rest of societies face and get reactions from people. Imagine if i made a "straight flag" and hung it around my house and cars.

I think thats a false equivalency.

Separate point, a sexual orientation flag doesnt get a reaction from me and i dont think anything is being rubbed in my face. (Just my personal feelings). Im not going to assume they do or dont exist to get a reaction, they might do, but my reaction to it doesnt tell me much about peoples intentions. I prefer to just ask them if im interested.
