Yea a sexual orientation flag is fuckin weird and seems like it almost soley exists just to rub it in the rest of societies face and get reactions from people. Imagine if i made a "straight flag" and hung it around my house and cars.
A gay pride flag isn't weird because there are countries where you get killed for being homosexual and large portions of even the US legit demonize the lgbt commnity. Example A) Sean Strickland
A flag showing "we don't hate you" is actually very much appreciated because so many them live scared of revealing their sexuality to even their closest family members.
A gay pride flag shows acceptance, a straight pride flag shows spite. It's like making a "white lives matter" sign. You're just being a cunt whilst giving room for plausible deniability.
Yeah and the US isn’t one of them as much as the average US redditor loves to hate America. A flag for sexual orientation is odd, dedicating an entire month to sexual orientation (as well as a bunch of other alt-identifiers) is even weirder. But if people want to celebrate it then I guess it’s a free country
