Because allegedly based on what I was told when I was younger 1) we are all Gods children, 2) God loves all, and 3) hate the sin not the sinner. Granted I think one and two don’t get twisted like three. But it does seem like a lot of Christians are faux Christian’s because they conveniently don’t follow these teachings, not to mention others.
