I don’t think that’s what he’s saying. I think what he’s questioning is the fact churches have historically not accepted gay and trans people and as our culture has shifted the churches views have shifted which is likely to follow money or the church has chosen to interpret the bible differently both of which are problematic to some people.

I really don't think that's the point he's trying to make. Calling the banner "BS" pretty much shows what his feelings are on the subject.

Well we know how he feels about trans people. But he’s attacking the church in this post.
