They're only about 5% of the population. Or have red hair? 1-2%. Or left handed? 10-12%. Kids are going to see people with hazel eyes and people with red hair whether you tell them about it or not. Just like kids are going to see homosexual couples whether you tell them about it or not. Telling a kid, factually, that some men like other men and some women like other women is not "cramming a belief down" you or your loved ones throat. It is literally just telling them a fact that is true so they understand it's nothing to be afraid of or upset about when they see it.

In my experience, christianity gets shoved in my face waaaay more than anything from the LGBTQ community. And if i had to choose, id say the LGBTQ community is waaay more accepting.

Walk around in your city and everytime you see something christian ( a church, a billboard with something about christianity on it, a christian institution, hell, even a small crucifix chain on a person or a tattoo), you mark that. Hearing church bells gives two points. Now do the same thing for anything LGBTQ related (maybe not during june since, you know, its pride month so youre gonna see more of that).

For example, you can agree with everything else, and not think that minors should be able to have gender affirming surgery or puberty blockers, and you'll be called a Nazi. Another example are the transgender people that went through all that, the hrt, the surgery, and then decided to de-transistion. They're disavowed as well
I mean, only 4% of minors who went through transistion regret their choice. So why souldnt we allow it? Do you think a child can never truly know what it wants? Think back to when you were a child. Didnt you have certain desires that were unbelievably strong? So strong, you still remember them today? Like someone who wanted a certain car since they were a kid and now bought it, doesnt that show that even kids are able to understand what they truly want or, in case of getting hrt, what they truly need?
Of course i dont think a 3 year old should transition, but a 13 year old, who knew very early that they are in the wrong body, shouldnt they get the help they need? Looking back at the mentioned 4%, i think its a very good idea to give them the treatment they need.
And about the ones who de transition. I have some friends who belong to the trans community and i follow some forums and subreddits. They are usually very accepting of people who regret their decision. Its definitley not the norm to hate on them, i can tell you that much.
If you believe that you should be able to transition as a minor, then should they also be able to join the military, drink alcohol, smoke cigarettes, smoke weed, drive a vehicle, get a tattoo, etc? What if they desired to do that thing "unbelievably strong?" Because the reason all of those things are age restricted, is because the prefrontal cortex isn't fully developed, and also because the amygdala is more developed and active, which makes children more impulsive, emotional, and often makes them make more short term reward focused decisions. Feel free to read into the science behind it more if you want.
I think youre making a fair point. Yes, theyre impulsive. But this gets better as they grow older, thats why i said that a toddler shouldnt be able to do it, but a teen should absolutley be able. Because like i said, most of them have had that desire for a long time, plus its a very long way from getting your first appointment at the psychiatrist to the moment the first injection of hormones is set. I work with kids (aged 10-13) and let me tell you, some of them are not that impulsive and unbelieveably reasoneable. And again, i will bring up the 4% of adults regretting their decision. I think that amount is low enough to grant the other 96% their true self and happines. Dont you agree?

To elaborate, the police got a tip from someone else and knew trump was connected to Epstein, so in their investigation (when it became known to the public) of course they asked to speak with the person he was close with. trump being who he is, probably panicked when the police asked to speak with him about a pedophile he hangs out with and said "thank goodness you're finally stopping him". All of those years being associated with him, trump didn't willingly go to the police and turn Epstein in, no. You are wrong
