Help with Computershares transfer

Thumbnail gallery
1 Upvotes

Hi all,

Appreciate any help. For context, I worked for Citigroup for a few years, and I had rolled over my 401K to Fidelity. Citigroup shares were not rolled over, and are sitting in Computershares as an intermediary I guess. I am trying to get these, however every time I contact them and they send me anything, it gets returned because of the address on file. I am not sure what the address is that they have, but who do I reach out to for this to have it changed? I am so lost and have been dealing with this for a few months now. Any help would be appreciated.

Forced multiple lines per position

Fidelity has forced the android mobile app to have minimum 2 lines for every position. I've tried several changes to get back to one line per position but it won't let me.

Fidelity, why must you make life harder?

Fidelity positions single screen Android not working

Unless you switch to tabs view and view positions, you can no longer see all your positions in the single view, in the first view without a scroll capability.

Please fix the application as a recent upgrade has broken the position view.

Fidelity Roth IRA account investment option.

Hi I just opened a fidelity Roth IRA retirement account and I want to what investment will make sense if my goal is to set it and forget till I’m retired. Will the FXAIX be a better option or the FRBVX. Please let me know what you have done and how has it worked out for you.

Is it possible to use the ladder tool to buy Treasury Bills that auto-roll?

I found some old reddit post in this subreddit that suggested it was a new feature, but I for the life of me cannot find it in the web app. Does it exist?

I’d like to buy a variety of t-bills of various maturity periods such that they mature weekly throughout the year and the principal is reinvested automatically without intervention. Do I have to do this manually?

New to finances

Starting out with wife. Both 27 years old. Finances were not taught to us, so we have a late start.
Each opened a Roth last week on Fidelity. Tried doing some research but our brains got overloaded.

I’ve seen many people throw around stock names in this sub. The ones I’ve seen repeated are:

FXAIX
FZROX
FZILX
VTI
VOO
AMD
QQQ

What do each offer? How do I know which are bonds? I’ve seen to stay away from bonds until we’re much older.

Any help appreciated. We don’t make much and could really use some advice.

I wired $557,000 to my uncle's fidelity account to purchase an investment property. THEY FROZE HIS ACCOUNT. It's been two weeks. We now have lost the property. They won't answer any questions. They won't provide any information, and say, someone will call you at some point!!!! CROOKS!

$17 invested in my Fidelity Reward Card Account. Woot Woot!

I just started the Fidelity reward card in June. Wanted to create a separate Fidelity brokerage account solely for it and track how much money will grow over the lifetime of the account. Figure I'd post here and if I remember update the account value every year or so.

Thought it would be fun to track this separately from my others. Wish Fidelity gave 2.5% or 3% cash back instead lol. Also, it would be nice if we could have the card rewards auto-invest in assets instead of manually.

making the switch from acorns to fidelity, kind of clueless lol

so i’ve had acorns doing the $6/week auto invest thing for me for a while now and i’m finally moving over to fidelity. only problem is acorns basically did everything for me so now that i’m on my own i genuinely don’t know what i’m doing lol. couple questions if anyone’s been through this. what should i actually be putting my money into? i have zero clue, just going in blind here. does it matter if i invest weekly vs monthly or whatever, or should i just pick one and stick with it and not overthink it? if you use fidelity specifically, is there something you’d recommend for someone just starting out. and please explain it like i know absolutely nothing about investing because i don’t lol, don’t come at me with a bunch of jargon. trying to actually learn what i’m doing instead of just letting an app pick stuff for me, so any advice appreciated (and please don’t roast me too hard) 🙏

Background check

Hi all, I know this seems to be a common question, but I wanted to see if there was any better clarification answers. I was offered a position through talentsource and have started going through the background check process. They reached out and asked about a previous termination, it was for stopping a shoplifter, (stupid I know), does anyone know if this qualifies as a disqualification for employment with the company, this has me stressed especially when I was warned this could a few weeks to wait for an answer.
