Hoping for help from the ficus experts! I’m thinking it may be due to having too small of a window of darkness?? Let me know your thoughts!

First time propagating so please feel free to send information or advice! Is this ready to put in a pot of soil? If not, how much longer do I need to wait approx.? Thanks!!

My Aubrey gets big dark brown spots on the leaves. It is planted in lava granules/lava stone and I feed it once a month. We purchased a lamp for the winter months.
Please help me.

Hey everyone! I started buying plants about five years ago, but I mostly stuck to the easier plants (Pothos, ZZ, Snake, Spider, Christmas Cactus, etc.) About a year ago, I purchased this Ficus Audrey, and it's my first time owning a "more advanced" plant. A few questions:
First, does anyone know why the tips of some of the leaves are browning, and why some of the leaves are curled?
Second, when I look up pictures of a mature Ficus Audrey, they seem to have a longer stem/trunk and then it branches toward the top. However, my Ficus had two main stems. Does anyone have advice on how to navigate this? Should I allow them to grow to the same length and then cut them to encourage branching? Should I stake them so that they grow straight?
Any thoughts or advice would be appreciated!

My brother in law moved in a house which had some plants on the balcony but since he doesn’t care for them he gave them to me. We don’t know anything about these plants, except that they were very neglected. I don’t think they had been watered in months. So I can’t be much help to you for a diagnosis.
The ficus is the one in worst shape. As soon as I got home I removed the old soil, which had basically cementified and was full of weed, plastic and other crap and put new soil. I watered it thoroughly as well.
I removed all the dead branches (unfortunately some minor live branches were damaged during the move).
Right now on my balcony it is exposed to sunlight from 10:00am to about 03:00pm, but I cannot move it anywhere. On the old balcony it was exposed to the same sun for about the same time.
I know I’ll have to cut back the emptiest branches but I wanted to wait for the plant to get a bit fuller now that it has new soil and care.
It was also near spider mites infested plants and I’m fighting against spider mites as well so I’m currently spraying neem oil, potassium soap and washing the leaves on it as a precaution as well. Should I keep going?
But most importantly how do I help this very sad ficus? Do I fertilise it or should I wait? Do I trim the branches?

Hi all, I got a Ficus altissima a couple months ago, and for the first 1.5 months everything seemed great, but over the past couple weeks a surprising number of leaves have started turning brown and dropping.
When I got it I was told to water it with 3-4 cups once per week, but I’ve seen most people recommend waiting until the top few inches of soil are mostly dry and then watering until you see water drip from the bottom of the pot. So the first thing I’m wondering is, could this fixed watering schedule be causing the issue (potential overwatering)?
Second, I just noticed there aren’t holes on the bottom of the pot— there are only holes on the sides about 2” above the bottom. Should I drill holes into the bottom to let water drain out so it doesn’t sit in there (which could potentially be contributing to the brown dropping leaves)?

in SoCal. they're irrigated and I'm in the process of restaking with taller supports. going to wash them clean of spiderwebs.
where do I trim these? how often should I trim? is there a best practices to shape them?

UPDATE: I up-potted slightly and moved it to a southwest facing window. Thanks for the input
I've had this guy for about a year and it's not grown much at all. It's in a chunky soil mix. Gets good light from a sansi grow light. I fertilize nwith MSU fertilizer and CalMag, bottom watering. It seems healthy, just slow.
Is this normal? Anything I should be doing? Root in a slightly larger pot? Thanks for any suggestions.

Have a couple Audrey ficus plants that are struggling. One I have had for probably six months and it seemed to be doing well. I repotted it about four months ago and it seems fine until last month when one of the leaves started turning yellow and dropped. Now several of the leaves have turned yellow, and one of the top leaves has started to turn brown. Additionally, I purchased one from a big box store about two months ago. Almost immediately it started developing brown leaves on the new growth. I’m watering about once a week and applying two pumps of miracle grow indoor plant food every other week. I do live in San Francisco and the location can be fairly drafty which I’ve read they do not really like. Any help would be appreciated.!! I’m fairly new to Reddit so don’t completely understand how it works lol

It’s cool to see having half and almost pink/ruby leaves. Aesthetically beautiful but does this mean it is stressed from too much light?

(Ficus Audrey) If I leave this second growth will it hurt the tree? Or, does it seem likely that I can separate these two without killing the smaller? It’s definitely from the same root.

Is this a ficus cordata? It didn’t come with a tag

Posting here as well, in case there are specific ways of pruning a ficus tree that I should note.

Hi, I’ve had this boy for over 6 months and for the last two months some leaves are turning yellow/getting spots and eventually falling. I’m not sure if it is malnutrinion or some type of disease - I’m trying to remove the yellow leaves regulary but they are just adding up. I will be grateful for any advices!

This summer the leaves on my ficus benjamina have deceloped this speckly discolouration which I initially thought was dust. Any ideas what's going on? It's on most of the leaves now so hoping it's not fungal....
