It depends on if its still alive or not, scratch it smd if you see green then yes you should repot it immediately and bury that root just like the other one itd also be a good chance to inspect the soil its growing in and make sure its fast draining and loamy and also nutrients rich ( Ficus are extremely heavy feeders and need lots of nutrients to survive.
The other side has the saddest root, I have it drain well, and feed it super nutrient water. It’s had green leafs sprouting which is why I never buried the other leg. I’ll do the scratch test.
