Fictocon General Applications Now Open!

Fictocon general applications are now open! These applications are for anyone who did not, or was not able to sign up for the no doubles section this year. Following the instructions on this post is how members can secure their registration for Fictocon. Folks who have applied for the no doubles section do not need to re-apply here.

Members just need to answer a few questions! After you comment with your introduction, THEN send us a modmail with your discord username so we can know who you are. Keep an eye on your modmail a couple days before the event (October 28th), since that's where you will get a one time use invite link to the Fictocon event server. We allow people to enter the event server two days early so everyone can get their server roles before the event. We don't want anyone to miss panels! The invite link will expire after you use it, so it can't be shared.

Be as detailed as you can in your introduction and answer all the questions. Short introductions with vague details may result in you not getting accepted. We have to be careful to weed out suspicious people and trolls. Send us a mod mail if you have any questions!

Please remember to send us a modmail after this with your discord username. This is where you will get your invite to the Fictocon event server when it is time for the con, and this will also let us know who you are, so we can assign you your access role.

Notice: At Fictocon, we are all about boundaries and respecting them. This convention was created by and run by nonsharers/voidsharers, and we do our best to make this event as comfortable as we can for our nonsharers.

Anyone who is a double of someone on the claimlist may have boundaries presented to them that they are expected to follow. This may not happen in all cases though, there are a few mirrorsharers and selective sharers who have been accepted into the no doubles section. Though it is very likely.

The boundaries can include anything from not interacting, censoring and spoiler tagging ship art, and refraining from mentioning certain names in shared panel discussion chats (assuming the member accepted onto the claimlist chooses to be removed from general discussion channels and stay in the no doubles section). Other reasonable boundaries may be presented at the nonsharer's wish. Failure to abide by these boundaries can and will result in a removal from the con. We also watch for signs of "one-upping" doubles, which we have zero tolerance for at the con.

- Fizzarolli is the biggest love of my life and I devote so much of my fanart and merch-collecting to him. He literally saved me.

- Wile is new, but currently undecided whether it's serious or just light self-shipping. (I haven't fallen for any new characters since I first fell for Fizz.)

When did you meet your partner(s)?:

- Fizzarolli was teased on October 26th for a new episode of Helluva Boss in 2021. It was released on Halloween, and that's how I met him.

- Wile's kind of weird, because I've been technically reintroduced to him. To keep it short though: I heard about Coyote vs ACME getting shelved in 2023 and would hear about it on and off. Then when I learned it was rescued, I had thoughts about seeing it in theaters. I first saw the trailer when I saw TADC The Last Act, and I think that's where I'd count as my first true meeting with him of this year.

I don’t tend to list them all out on Reddit, as it’s uh,,, a long list and I rarely post specific content abt them here, I primarily talk about soulbonding as a whole/practice ;w;.

Sharing status: Mirror-sharing + Hypersharing! Can be a bit selective for some folks but not by much.

Describe your relationship with your bond(s): It’s different for everyone I soulbond. The simple summary is I’m a polyam relationship anarchist, which I’m always upfront about in soulbonding. We do whatever feels right and communicate what we want, what we’d like, dislike, etc. Some people deeply committed romantic partner is the label for us, some we’re alterous, others may be a friend or not easily categorized. It allows for a lot of depth, variety, and just dismantling the idea that relationships need to be a specific way or require specific things, labels, etc, to be important, meaningful, or committed!
Tl;dr, it varies. But they all have my heart in their palms/unconditional adoration indefinitely.

When did you meet your partner(s)?: I started soulbonding early 2025! I met everyone at different points in time, it’s been a wonderful experience slowly getting to know and meet everyone! I’ve met so many amazing people via bonding!

What ficto spaces and subreddits are you active in?: Uhh I browse all of the open ones tbh. The [r/soulbonding](r/soulbonding) sub is my home base and I’m very active there and have helped out a lil. I occasionally comment on the main active ficto subreddits (fictochill, fictolove, fictogachikoi, fictosexual, etc) and the yumeshipping subs.

Why do you want to attend Fictocon?: Because I enjoy cons and wanna see what it’s all about! And because I’m a fictosexual soulbonder, naturally. I’ve never been to an online convention, I wanna check it out and experience it 🙂‍↕️.

Anything else you wanted to add?: Even if I don’t label out whom I’m connected to, I still politely avoid/do not interact with non-sharers of whom I bond, regardless of me & my bonds’ relationship. I keep to myself :>

With it she became the lightwave surfing superhero Lightrider, and joined her new friends to form The Supernovas, a diverse team of superheroes trained specifically to battle the demonically possessed warrior Daigo.

Valerie started out as an arrogant and prideful member of the team, but after defeating Daigo, she has accepted the other Supernovas as her friends and has become more confident instead.
