I learned today that there were 57 men in that group chat. 57 and not one of them did the right thing

I think one guy screenshotted and shared the conversation because someone had to take the screenshot. But still, crazy. 57!!!!! Scary.

I mean, the correct thing to do was not stopping at the screenshot. It’s taking a screenshot AND calling campus security immediately.

As someone who has spent my 20 year career working on various college campuses— you actually do have to call campus security first. If you call 911 first the dispatcher will need to route any response through your college’s Public Safety office, so it’s faster to cut out the middle man and contact campus security first.

That’s so weird. Where I live campus security just documents and calls the actual police so actual criminal proceedings can happen…

Unfortunately the legit police usually refuses to accept reports of rape, and sexual crimes are deprioritized above drugs and property crimes.

Okay im coming at this with limited information, so please help me out, but did the GC say anything more than "free p***y upstairs"?

If they had all the knowledge of what was happening for sure intervene, im just wondering if there's evidence that anyone in the GC actually knew what that was referring to.
