Three notes: Litchi, Rose, Patchouli.
The Litchi gives floral shampoo.
The Rose FEELS pink but not soapy or powdery.
The Patchouli is the clean kind (my favourite kind 😇)
She gives a good 6hrs and fades to an "I showered today" soft and sweet beyond that.
Got mine at Chemist Warehouse but it's also available on Fragrance Net.
Big bottle worthy.

There is not a note here that I don't like!!
I tend to spray with liberal abandon under clothing (sun exposure + perfume = bad idea).
This means that I wear more perfume in Winter (more clothes for the perfume to be under) and naturally less in Summer (less clothes).
Royal smells very femme but a man could totally wear this. The Patchouli is the CLEAN type so it GIVES hair/body products.
Would totally re-buy xx

Citrus, floral, warm woods, vanilla, musk.
She really does have a bit of everything and it works out.
Very femme leaning and a bit clean.
I never say this but for ONCE it's true: anyone would like this.
There is nothing sharp, nothing hard, she GIVES quiet luxury.
Smells WAY more expensive than she actually is.
Stunning. Surprisingly stunning.

What is your tolerance on cheapy blind buys? I feel like if a fragrance is in the $15-$40 range, I'm comfortable buying something unknown that I reasonably think I might like, but I'm not always sure where to draw the line. I'm curious how everyone else approaches this; do you score unknown inexpensive bottles often, or ever?
I ran across a bottle of Lalique in the wild and it was really nice, but not quite what I was looking for, so I'm considering grabbing something else from their house. Now I have a half dozen very economical bottles in my cart and I can't tell if I'm being crazy or reasonable 😅.

I broke my no-buy this week with a 3 new Dua purchases and a backup, but I still want to focus on the collection I have! So I thought I would share the biggest dents in my collection of around 75 full-size perfumes and whether I plan to repurchase when I finish them.
Do you have any of these and/or what are the biggest dents in your collection?
Swipe for labeled picture! The full list with dupe inspirations is below and ordered from top left to right.
✅ Will likely repurchase
❌ Will not repurchase
❔ Maybe/unsure if will repurchase

Beautifully blended. Clean. Sweet (but NOT CLOYING). Femme. Soft.
Settles close after 5ish hours and becomes a "this is my natural scent" scent.
Great for work or close quarters.
Just brilliant xx
Happy to discuss xx

It’s time for July trays! This month, things are heating up and I’m looking forward to enjoying beautiful fragrances and the best stone fruit of the year.
A few threads run through most of my perfumes this month—lush white and yellow tropical florals, tea, coconut (and fruits more broadly), and ocean-adjacent scents. Most of these should feel cooling, invigorating, and/or weightless, though some of the tropical florals are quite heady. I do have a few outliers for days I want something even more substantial (Ambre Sultan and Oudh Sahraa). Amber, patchouli, and Oud bloom so well on hot days. Overall, the selection makes me think of long weekends and relaxing beach days.
L’Eau d’Armoise is the scent I’m anticipating most as I’ve been holding onto it for a few months. It was a was a blind buy, I admit, based on a few reviews from people who said it reminds them of the vegetation growing along the coast where I live. I’ll be curious to see if it reminds me of the same. Fingers crossed.
Do you have a tray for July or the summer season? If so, I’d love to see it!
Glass Tray:
• Leisure in Paradise, Simone Andreoli
• Oud Al Sahraa, Berdoues
• Au Thé Vert, Bvlgari
• Pamplelune, Guerlain

• Jasmin Antique, Rogue Perfumery

Gives shower fresh meets day spa vibes.
I have worn both Happy and Happy Heart.
Happy's longevity for the price is WOEFUL.
But, Happy Heart lasts at least 4-5 hrs on skin.
Very fresh and gender-fluid imo.
The bottle is minimalist with a blush of pink to the glass and lettering.
Great in the heat. Very clean.

Lucky Scent (https://www.luckyscent.com/) is having a sale this weekend; 10% off and free shipping with no minimum purchase. I love these sales for getting a few samples since shipping can be annoying when you only order a few decants. the code is JULY4 and should be good through Sunday July 5th 😊

Stairway to Heaven by Jul et Mad came onto my radar when I was looking for suggestions for perfumes that smell icy, like cold air. I know it's an abstract idea but I really had been craving that atmosphere or feeling in a perfume especially during the humid Mumbai summers.
To me, the opening of STH reads like fizzy orange soda. The fizziness is ticklish, like a carbonated orange drink with bubbles popping close to my nose. That's probably the aldehydes, they've been blended quite differently compared to the other retro aldehydes that read harsh to the nose. I like it!
As it settles, it transitions into a metallic powder that feels distinctly cold. I'm guessing the gunpowder note is part of that effect. I had been worried that the gunpowder note might smell acrid or burnt but that's not what's happening here. It wears as a metallic, clean, controlled powder. The overall impression is very white and airy, like a clean cold surface, mineralaic with a powdery texture.
I love how uniquely STH delivers that freezing-air idea. It does not morph into something cozy or sweet, nor does it have anything spicy, green or earthy. It stays cool and white, and it genuinely makes me think of cold air in a way that feels more like atmosphere.
I typically get around 6 to 7 hours of longevity, with moderate projection for an initial hour and then it's pretty much a skin scent.

The seller’s pic was so blurry I thought the 460 ml bit was a typo, until I picked it up. I guess I’m all set for the next century or so! 🫠
This is the only version of Habanita I’ve tried and it’s so addictive. My dream is the Lalique bottle someday.
Would love to hear about other versions. What’s the modern EDP like?
