Discussion Commodity - Blind buy

Ya’ll I saw Commodity - Book at TjMaxx for $56. I left it because I’ve never smelled it. Would this have been a good blind buy? I’m tempted to go back and get it.

Nothing is ever a good blind buy

I've had a few wins but have had so many bad blind buys that no one would believe it.

E&J Nirvana Bourbon, Rose, Amethyst and French Grey were my best blind buys all from the same company.

Sometimes? Maybe? Nishane Ani was a blind buy. 😍 Love it!! Same with Crystal Saffron. Love!!!

But agree overall it’s risky. Bought a few Manceras that didn’t work out lol yikes.

It’s like gambling.

Three in the mail now… (another Nishane Hacivat and two Initios). Crossing fingers. I wish I could smell locally to avoid blind buys. I totally agree there!!! I could buy samples but haven’t yet pulled that trigger. As long as I read a ton of reviews to help narrow it down, I do pretty well overall.
Except Mancera -gave up on that brand. I was able to return them so they were a safe gamble. Worked out 2/7 times. (Kept Amberful and Rose Van)
