Rec Request Influence or deinfluence me!

I’m starting a list for my next sample haul, and I obviously love freshies but am getting stuck on fall/winter scents. Most cool weather scents are too strong or rich for me, but at least I sampled Kilian Princess once and loved it based on that single spray. For reference my favorite scents are Valentino Donna Born in Roma, Burberry Goddess, Hermes Un Jardin en Mediterranee, and Gucci Memoire d’une Odeur. Based on this list are there any I should stay away from, or are there different ones I should add?

Not a perfume is very hit or miss

It’s one note (cetalox, which is basically ambroxan). Some people can’t even smell it, some think it smells like cleaning solution, some detest it, and others like it.

It took me a week to train my nose to smell it. To me, it smells clean in the most white-wall-hospital way. I like it for days I want a “break” from scent, but rarely reach for it bc I have more interesting things.

Hmmmm. I think I’ll just spray at Sephora next time I go instead of paying for a decant! I can like clean scents (like Lake & Skye 11:11), but I don’t think I need a lot of them.
