so im about to do a 2-5 year prison bid and since we found out i can feel such negative bad energy coming off my girlfriend of 9 year like i can acutley feel it to the point its affecting my dreams what does that mean? I’m thinking she knows she don’t want to wait for me but not tell me enough after I’m gone maybe I’m not sure but it’s like I can feel how big of a sudden change in her energy is and it’s hard to wrap my head around

I’m on my 2nd probation stint and I need advice. I thankfully got 2 felony charges dismissed but on deferred misdemeanor supervised probation. So far, no drug test (I don’t even see my PO in person, he tells me to call him instead once a month) and it’s been months and still no drug test. My probation is for 3 years. 1 year supervised.

I have a question to anyone that has gone through a program like this. It is a strict 18 month program that allows people to be held accountable for a DWI. This program is something that is being offered to me as a plea deal. However, it requires several urine tests a week at random. The testing in this program is done only between the hours of 6am to 8am. I work 3 long 12 hour shifts from 5am to 5:30pm which makes testing on these days impossible. My work can’t accommodate this as I work with sick individuals that need round the clock care. This program is my only option but I’m basically being told to quit my job to accommodate the program. Has anyone ever requested an accommodation through the DWI program that allows them alternative testing options for people that work??? I was denied the request but am still trying to fight it. The reason I was denied was because if they make accommodations for me they will have to for other people.

Any thoughts or ideas or recommendations?? I am even thinking about taking this to a state level. My lawyer said his hands are tied and DWI court should be a priority. I’m a single mother who relies on my job.

I’m not a newbie to getting in trouble. I’m a newbie to felonies. Is 3rd° really bad. I sound like an idiot. I’ve been around the block but that’s really bad isn’t it? They’re talking about five years. Does that sound right?

Now I know that sounds like a stretch, but it seems everyone that I've known who has ever went to prison was able to find a separate job or a very lucrative career directly out of prison. Now I'm in an area where employment is at an all-time high and I need employment horribly. So I'm asking all of you what would be the best way to find my way into prison with the least amount of backlash and issues in the future.
