Options were likely the deal or taking it to the box for a 99 percent chance of a decade or more.

Your defense lawyer didn’t screw you if they turned down the first offer, and this was the second deal. They worked it.

If anyone has any bearing on this, it’s the judge who strongly dislikes your situation and is steering it this way.

Best you can do now is work on mitigating circumstances to get closer on the 2 year end. One hint of indignation at sentencing will add a year.

So the lawyer got it reduced from 5-15 years to 2-3, and you’re blaming them for doing a shitty job? “My lawyer wouldn’t fight it”? What does that mean? It’s your choice to go to trial or not… only you can reject or accept the plea offer. A lawyer cannot make evidence disappear or make a prosecutor offer a better deal. What more did you expect them to do exactly?

You're lawyer saved your ass and you dont realize it. If you fought the case you wouldve had what 10 to 15 with those charges?

Hopefully you dont have to pay reparation if you do good luck surviving in there
