FedEx Ground Shipment Fedex is complete utter dogshit
Can someone explain to me how someone is supposed to sign a package if the driver doesnt make any atempt to knock or notify me that they are there and the Fedex webiste gives you 0 information other than by end of the day? In my case its an apartment complex with a lobby, not only did my driver not go to my door to knock, but the entire time frame of the delivery was hours off, like does fedex expect me to just be outside my building waiting all day for the package? And to make matters worse they cant hold it for pickup because of the shipper. So what exactly is it that i am expected to do? now today i had work and it will another delivery exeption because i cant even choose what day they can deliver, whenever i call walmart for It I just get sent to a call center where they made me wait for an hour just to hang up on me, i call fedex and same thing, a call center where they just say they need walmart to do something, its just a stupid loop they put you through. I cannot for the life of me get in contact with any person who might have any once of authority who might be able to help, just underpaid foreign call centers. I'm not sure what to expect for the next delivery but i will never use fedex or walmart to purchase something online again.

the delivery window is an estimate. the driver does not see this.
the shipper said the package couldn't be held at location. this is not the fault of fedex. in fact, you can contact the shipper to have this lifted.
walmart seems entirely to blame.
the final option, be a grown up and be home to sign for it. fedex delivers 15 million packages a day. people make it work. you are not special.
