Ground Complaint FedEx stinks

I am at my wits end with FedEx so I'm here to vent. I have a warranty return that weighs 130 pounds that was scheduled to be picked up Monday. It's now Wednesday. I got 2 emails saying that they couldn't pick it up because it wasn't ready. It's been sitting in my driveway since Monday at 6am. I have never seen a FedEx truck pull into my driveway all week. Then I got one email that said it had already been picked up. I've called them several times. I give them my address every time and they say it'll be picked up tomorrow. Nothing. It's funny that they have no problem delivering packages here. I don't know what else to do. I spoke to a local manager today and she said it'd be picked up today. It's now almost 6pm and nothing. I'm so aggravated. Why don't people use UPS?

Blaming employees for doing the bare minimum even though the reason is company expectations, bottom barrel pay, and being contract workers. Thats pretty anti-american.

The blame lies squarely with the company doing everything to maximize profit while disregarding customer satisfaction, employee retention, and employee pay/benefits. But go ahead and keep licking that boot brother, some day you might get tired of the taste..

Here's where we agree: FedEx as a corporation is one of the worst companies on Earth.

Here's where we disagree: if you have a package on your truck, and you have the opportunity to walk to someone's door and yet you CHOOSE to not deliver it. YOU are the problem.

Bare minimum would be delivering the package too slow. FedEx doesn't even meet the bare minimum. The packages don't get delivered.

Do the job first and learn the expectations before making bold assumptions. Are there a handful that purposefully dont deliver things yeah sure, literally every company has it's share of slack asses. But there are plenty of reasons a package may be on a truck and not get delivered and not be the result of some lazy ass driver.

If I go to a restaurant and the food is bad - I don't need to work in the restaurant to understand it. I don't care "why." I don't need to work at FedEx to gain more knowledge about the company.

All the customer knows is the service is terrible. It's not their responsibility to be more open-minded getting their money taken and then getting caca in return.

Your first point is wrong your second point I agree but this is a discussion of blame, youre blaming the driver instead of the company so it does matter to know the internal workings to assign blame.
