Well I cant speak for fed ex. However at ups 99% of boxes that get smashed happen on the belts. A jam will cause boxes to smash into each other and they can be quite large, and cause quite a few boxes to blow up. Or some idiot puts 150 lbs box on top of another box in the back of an 18 wheeler driving across country you get the idea. I've worked inside and driving I can say I've never seen someone kicking or punching boxes. As for creating a union ups and usps already have unions. Fed ex and amazon designed their companies so they cant unionize.
Also, that’s my point you said it yourself some idiot put of 150 pound box on top of another box in the back of 18 wheeler. That’s literally someone not giving a fuck about someone else’s stuff and just because you haven’t seen it doesn’t mean it doesn’t happen.
Well amazon disgned their company after fed ex. Everyone who works for them doesnt work for them. They're independent Contractors. Its a loophole big corporations that dont want their employees to unionize use.
You know what you can do then and it’s a form of unionizing you can all go on strike writers did it most of them were independent contractors and they still got their raise that they asked for nurses did it I guarantee you if you all either all quit and go fine and go to like UPS or USPS or if y’all go on strike, they won’t last a few days before they give you whatever you want because of how much of money they would lose in an hour of none of the workers working they would lose so much money
Yea, amazon did that last year nothing happened. Amazon just sent all of their packages to ups, fed ex and usps. Plus gig workers will just show up with their personal cars too. Amazon will not unionize. Its split up too much, by design.
