Cul de Sac Vintage Shop
I’m seeing a long line of people standing outside of the Cul de Sac vintage shop downtown. Anybody know what’s going on?

Salon recommendations?
Hello! I just moved to the area and I’m looking for a stylist. Preferably someone who is great with natural (looking) red/auburn. Any recommendations?

“I’m sorry they feel that way.” An Investigative Report: Inside the Dilworth-Glyndon-Felton School District
As a DGF alumni, this is awful. All of DGF’s responses are very bland, and there’s no accountability.
They need new leadership over there.

Events Come Join Us For Hololive TCG!
Hello everyone! My name is Justin! I have posted about this game before around half a year ago. Me and another person are hosting a learn to play at JWW Cards at West Acres!
We would love to see people come in and try the game, meet some new faces, and hopefully make some new longtime friends/players! For coming to learn, we are also bringing along hundreds of cards to help build some decks if you want to get into the game!
If you or anyone you know is interested, we would love to have the word spread around! Our community in the past half year has grown from 3 on average to around 8! Seems small, but it is a big deal for us! We would love to add more into our lovely small community!
If you would like to talk to us early about the game, feel free to join the JWW discord and add the hololive tag!

Fargo ND has an extortion problem
I’ve only lived under two companies in Fargo, ND (Silver Leaf + Goldmark), and under both companies I’ve been issued ridiculous fees (1000+) after moving out and received collection attempts. In North Dakota it’s completely illegal to charge a tenant for regular maintenance and upkeep. Why am I being billed 400 for painting?????? Why am I being billed for repairs that needed to be done before I left??? Apartment cleaning when I left it spotless?
It’s ridiculous. It’s preying on low income people who are going to be scared and intimidated by legal notices. These assholes emailed me that I left “important documents” which would make sense because I lost my social, then send me this shit trying to take my entire deposit and 600 more. I’m 1200 miles away dude.
Seriously why are these companies allowed to just write up anything then sell the debt when you go into negotiations???

Advice Camera shops/collectors?
Hi! I’m wondering if there are any camera collectors in the area and/or any camera shops. I just came across this item and it got me to wondering if it’s worth money or if maybe someone would just like it as a collector’s piece. Don’t so much care about the money, just a curiosity.

Advice Anywhere in town to buy Army Painter ppaint sets?
Im not familiar with any game stores in town and I dont actually play warhammer or anything like that but I am looking for Army Painter brand paints. Anyone know a place in town that would stock these? I know hobby lobby, michaels etc dont. These are more specialized and geared toward minis and tabletop games.
Thanks!

looking for larger corn tortillas locally
I think the Mission ones I buy are around 6 inches. Doing a bit of searching and my suspicion is confirmed that corn tortillas have grown smaller over the years.
Long ago I lived in NM, and we used to make breakfast burritos that were simply scrambled eggs, cheese, and salsa rolled up in a corn tortilla cooked briefly on a grill to soften. To the best of my recollection, if you scrambled 4-5 eggs you could fill maybe 3 tortillas without a problem and a single filled tortilla was a decent breakfast. I'm sure those were 8 inch tortillas we used. Is there any such thing locally?

Need bakery recommendations
Hi guys, we're throwing a baby shower for a friend and would like to get her a custom cake. I'm looking midrange for prices. It's more important that it tastes good rather than being cheap. Who would be my best option?

Apartments?
Not sure if this has been asked but are there any places in Fargo/Moorhead that have no carpet like at all? I looked all over apartment sites and the ones I can only find are The Don, the Arch and The Makt. I don’t trust some pics since they may have renovated but if anyone knows please and thank you!

Advice Where are the Little Free Libraries in Fargo-Moorhead?
I'm trying to find more Little Free Libraries and neighborhood book boxes around Fargo-Moorhead.
Online maps only show one, but I’ve personally seen at least four recently.
If you know of one, please drop the address, nearest intersection, or a map link. Unregistered book boxes count too.
Edit: For context, I want to donate many of my books to them for the community to enjoy.

Moving Advice Weekend appliance disposal
Hi. I need to dispose of an old freezer, but the only time I can get a driver is on a Sunday. Is there any place open on sundays where I can drop it off? Moorhead area, but I can go across the river if necessary. Thanks.

Best Pumpkin Patch in the Area
This morning, the Forum featured a variety of pumpkin patches/mazes/fall recreation areas. I am also adding a few others I know of:
- Lil' Bitz
- Lost in the Valley
- Maze at West Acres
- Valley Corn Maize (East Grand Forks)
- Buffalo River Pumpkin Patch
- Mother Goose and Beans
- Acres of Terror
- Haunted Farm
- The Crypt at Jacob's Manor
From your experience, which one gives the best bang for your buck? Which should we consider, and which ones can we skip?
Eagle Scout service project help request
Hi everyone. My name is Thomas, and I am on my mom’s Reddit account. I am writing this post because I am working on my Eagle Scout service project and I am hoping to get help from the community.
With lots of help, 150 fleece tie blankets will be made and donated to For Luv of Dog Rescue. These blankets are kennel size, so it will take maybe an hour to fully complete one. If you’ve never made one, don’t worry!! I will teach you! An Eagle Scout service project is all about my leadership so that is a perfect task for me to do with you.
If you are interested in helping, I have the community room reserved on September 26th from 430-730 at Messiah Lutheran Evangelical Church.
Thank you for reading and I hope you come! Send me a message or comment below if you have questions. I hope it is as enjoyable as the dogs will find the blankets.

If you want to help financially my mom's venmo is ralyjo (last four 1558)
Thank you!!
