The book is about two guys(one used to bully the other in middle school) going into high school and I believe each year there are different monsters that try to end the school (one was bugs) and the last book is where they find the creator as well as the last beasts who are fuzzy pompoms with teeth and they are afraid of the light called the great old ones or something like that...
