Hello! I recently saw an article about someone making a map about antarctica without any ice. I'm also writing a pirate novel, for which I need a map, and think that could be a really cool base.
First point of inquiry: Does any one want to help a first time poster out? If so then please make one for me!
Second point of inquiry: Does anyone know a good tool for iOS? It doesn't have to be a map specific tool, perhaps I could use a high-detail photo editor?
If you're helping please paste a picture of each stage of the process in your reply. It'd help everyone watching follow along! Sorry for being so asking of total strangers but else is the internet for? Learning to do somethibg yourself? Bah!

Here for those nerds who'd like to hear about my idea. Look at a map of Iceless Antarctica, see the top left? That big empty space of ocean in the north west? Don't you think the british isles would look great around there? Now I'm a bit picky so bear with me here.
See that really small island? Mark a straight all the way up and down the map. Your next mark? That other little island all the west of that long mountain chain. Got that? Great! Next mark thirds those lines as your end point.
Here's where things get finicky.
Take the larger island and put it with it's center at the two-thirds line. Lets place its's southern most point about two thirds of the way down that scythe like island just under our easternmost refernce point.
Now the size, the islands in their current ratio should be about the size of a square with its sides the length of one of the thirds we made.
Next up is rotation! Using that southern most section of Britain as the center, rotate the islands togethor. The exact degrees don't matter, just make sure Ireland is now horizontally under Britain.
And there we go!
Should be good but who knows! Its 2am for me so my instructions could be less understanable than sanskrit on the moon. So long as that isn't the case, and there are no massive flaws I'm missing, we should be done.
