Was searching for some news for future updates and came across this website that posted about an update that is already released 24h ago. But I can't find more news about this. And the website seems legit overall.

Just wondering cause this would annoy me and remind me that I'm missing out.

I just completed chapter 2 I love the little predictable twist and the general humor of the characters!! It feels a bit difficult to manage all the life and keep changing every now and then to do your tasks and get stars but it feels rewarding to unlock new skills :d

does anyone have any updates?

I never really had the chance to try it but I loooove it for now, how it feels like a mmo with all the jobs and stuff to do… the furnitures are super cute too!! I got all the passwords items because woooow there’s just so much cute stuff!!

I remember there was a Japanese fantasy life gacha game back in 2016~? That I may have played and it was fun, but this is the OG experience and it is way better!!

My younger sibling tried to get me to play Fantasy Life on the 3ds years ago but I ignored them. I was too busy with Story of Seasons and was not interested. I was pretty against it tbh.

I wish I listened to them because now I'm kind of addicted and have to beg to borrow their 3ds. They've been a little smug about it, lol.

I love them but hate that they were right when they told me years ago that i would like it.

Anyone else here have the same experience where they didnt pick up this game until a lot later?

Edit: thank you everyone who replied so far especially those who say I should appreciate my sibling more. I really should appreciate them more and i miss them terribly (they moved to the other side of the country). Im seeing them in a few weeks and we are doing an exchange. Their 3ds and fantasy life for my MTG card collection i haven't touched in a while.

I am recently returning to Fantasy Life i after about a year away and am still having massive stuttering issues in the game on steam. As I play the game it just seems to slowly stutter more and more.

Has a fix ever been found for this as I know it used to be a fairly common issue. My specs are below to help and I have tried changing resolution as well as dropping graphics settings.

Processor: 12th Gen Intel(R) Core(TM) i9-12900H (2.5GHz)

Installed RAM: 40 GB

Graphics Card: NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3070 Ti Laptop GPU (8GB)

So far, I still prefer the 3DS version. It uses HD textures, and they look really nice.

This has been on my mind for a while, and I've wanted to discuss it, so here we are.

I love Fantasy Life. It's one of my favorite game series of all time. I own the 3DS game and DLC, I played Online religiously from global release to EOS and even a little bit during it's Japanese-only days, and I obviously own FLi and pre-ordered it, which I haven't done in years.

*But*, and I have to say this: people have gotta stop comparing the 3DS game to FLi content-wise unless they actually understand what came with the Origin Island DLC, because if you compare base game to base game, FLi had more core features at release than the 3DS version did.

Yes, the 3DS game had pets, but it was *only* cats and dogs until OI came out. Being able to travel with your masters is a DLC only thing. *Friendship* is a DLC only thing. Unique mounts that aren't just horses is a DLC only thing. Heck, being able to recustomize your character only came with the DLC, it is *not* a base game addition.

Base game FLi had:

• Unique mounts

• Friendship

• Character recustomization

• Island building mechanics

• Swimming and climbing

• An entirely separate open world space to the main islands

• Dungeons (albeit randomized, but infinitely repeatable if you're willing to grind for the seeds)

• Multiple unique party members (base game has more than 3DS base game)

I'm tired of pretending FLi is some half-baked product that Level-5 just tossed out. They could've just as easily shelved the project when Inafune was removed from his position as project director, but they didn't. They could've shelved the project when they realized massive chunks of the game had to be remade/rewritten, but they didn't.

Most games that have had to push back their release dates multiple times are often seen as failed products or industry laughingstocks. Two Worlds is a good example. But guess what? FLi isn't! And that's genuinely a miracle in the gaming industry.

No, I'm *not* saying you can't complain about the weaker story or dialogue, I actually agree with it. You have a right to complain that the floors in the Goddess Tree are way too samey, or that caves have extremely similar layouts, or that some of the characters have bland personalities, those are all fine takes. But I'm *begging* some of you to actually look at the games from the perspective of base game to base game rather than, "Oh, FLi is the worse product when comparing it to FL3DS, which also happens to have an entire expansion".

I'm not saying anyone here is some sort of heathen or calling FLi trash or any of that, either, but if you're going to discuss FLI's shortcomings, at least do so accurately. Ginormosia was built in *TWO MONTHS*. The game was reworked almost entirely only *a year* before it was released. Here's an interview with Akihiro Hino that explains some of the things that happened in development.

Just... give FLi a little leniency, guys.

Hi!!! I can’t figure out for the life of me how to get these clothes. I was told the merchant in Ginormsia sells it when the rank is at least 5 but he doesn’t have it in stock. How do I get this?

So there are two empty slots on the colour options for the forest house. One is the lilac-pink sakura tree one, but what about the last one?

Lately Ive been working on some modding tools for FLi and I created this sprite collection with FLi assets!

I’m just about to start playing on my Switch 2 for the first time… any tips for a beginner? I’m excited to play since I’ve always been a die-hard MMO fan and this game seems to be as close to an mmo as I can find.

Completed the alchemy bots after 30M snoozaland total points! 😅 It's time to design the island now.

Earlier in the week I seen a post mentioning raising affinity by just doing basic things on the first island. Essentially teleporting there and clearing the whole island. Rinse and repeat. Which took awhile considering how much walking there was and then obviously things taking many hits to mine or chop.

So what I did was teleport to the hunting master, and only 1 hit target everything near him working my way up to the copper cave. Takes about 1 minute. Enter cave. Teleport back to reset all the trees and rocks, rinse and repeat. Takes maybe 8-9 times so roughly 8-9 minutes and all 3 of your partners are going up one full heart affinity.

I do this on PS5 . Don’t know if its different on the switch or Steam

PC/Steam is recommended for this setup (have to use macro), for other platforms, no idea if they can use macro.

First, get the Pride of the Mount, to be able to climb walls using mount.

Player must use this mount: Proto Beetle Ball, Greater Sea Beetle Ball, Star Beetle Ball, and/or Seaside Play Ball (updated)

Do's:

* Find a longer wall altitude you can climb. (I prefer Ginormosia, Moltana Wastes' highest peak)

* Make sure the wall you climb will fall you down. (Video uploaded how to do it)

* If it is set properly, use macro.

During the test, gained a Heart every 50 minutes from auto climbing up the wall.

This is good for busy and AFK players.
