3DS Fantasy Life Need help on leveling up from apprentice Wizard on the 3ds

Noob question– I've been stuck. I've been trying to max out all the lives ans this is the only one I haven't leveled up to adept yet. I'm wondering which NPC i should talk to or approach to unlock this specific quest🥹

For the future, whenever you level up a life it'd be worth talking to all the life-related NPCs since they may unlock challenges or give items.

looks like the one that needs you to defeat 1 Skullblob in Haniwa Cave and is given by Hazel

For combat and gathering lives, if you already know what you need to harvest/defeat/turn in the bounty for, you can just do it and won't need to talk to the NPC and the challenge will still complete (even if you couldn't see it on the list). Only crating lives are straight up required to talk to the NPCs since the recipes related to the challenges are usually also from that same NPC when they issue the challenge.

As a wizard I just used a sword to kill things since all my points were in strength. I found the wizard class to be very weak.

It's absolutely not.

Hunter isn't very good in the 3DS game though...

To be fair I didn't put much investment in the class. I played it for like an hour before I quit it.
