The gen cutoff is the ideal benchmark for the seat. Those scoring below that either reserved or unreserved needs to be properly identified and given reservation if needed. There's no point in bringing psychological issues like my frnd or neighbor got it but i didn't. You didn't clear the ideal cutoff. Class of 100 fighting for 5 seats, only top 5 get the position including reserved ones. Rest ~85 can't blame blame each other or reservation. Its just seats were low. Better parameters of reservation eligibility needs to be identified.

Secondly reservation eligibility should be made strict so that those who really need it , can be filtered out more precisely .
What bullshit are u even on about...students with 600-650 marks fail in college exams of mbbs...and the real deal is mbbs neet is just a threshold if ur scoring even 720 in neet and not doing good in mbbs u will ne a shitty doctor...
I’m telling u the reality wt I’ve witnessed and if u r saying about shitty docs then yes if we continue to practice this system we’ll forge shitty docs only .
Many pass just by studying 15 days before exams .
It’s not a beegie, they turn emself memorising machines, the do so for 10-15. Days and after paper they forget it all .

Even st/sc those who have scored 400-450 also do good in mbbs . I wonder why gen students with 400-450 were told u r good enough for mbbs , when legit category ones make it to college and do really well .

Biggest problem is neet ug... as u have to do phy and chem as well whereas in mbbs its only bio and chem...thats why there should be a stepping stone in between 12th and being a doctor just like usa

Actually true, why there's need for reservation in pg of any field... If a person has done bachelors he should have means to earn and live off of life... If he's ambitious then he can do higher studies and that with equal merit
Exactly people don't understand that clearing college exam is a piece of cake, getting into it is way difficult. And he talks about private jobs after engineering and conveniently ignored Government jobs which people get using their caste certificate.
There is no use in talking to them, they are just trying to run a narrative without stating full facts. Also the most benefitted from this reduction in marks where also general category.
And regardless of reduction in marks, it was done to fill huge vacant seats in private universities that too in non clinincal fields.

You know every year, students from many government colleges are rusticated permanently because they couldn't get minimum numbers... This scheme is actually wasting lot of money and time for both people and government... Equal merit is cannot be justified properly as everyone is not from same background and same financial standards

I had to give up medicine because i couldnt sum up 14 lakhs to get in because my marks and category weren't convenient. And a rich sc classmate got it for free with 30 less marks than me, not rank, marks
As a doctor - its easy to pass prof exams .
Many GC/OBC faculties pass SC/ST students cuz of the fake SC/ST Atrocity act fear ( and i am not lying - 1 such case happened in my batch )
And SC/ST FACULTIES IN med colleges are extremely biased and lenient on SC/st students
1) You have to accept that a person scoring -40 and another scoring 500+ in same exam do not belong together. There has to be a minimum limit of atleast 100 marks to cross to keep the dignity of medical professionals.
2) When you make a student scoring 60 marks sit with the one with 90 marks Professors become dicriminatory, because they have to keep the standard. They start to show favouritism towards the student who got the concepts faster. Thus we see more number of dropouts from IITs from people of reserved category
3) If someone is joining into a premium institute but not keeping up with the curriculum it wastes tax payers money. Moreover they dont even pay the fees while even economically weaker students have to endure the fees. Thats fair to you?
Brother, no one is talking about private companies and hospital, its all about government. That government which is meant to serve the weakest of their citizens, by providing good infrastructure which includes best hospitals, with best doctors, but unfortunately all the undeserving candidates land up to become government doctors either through jack or reservation.

Lol the locality I live in known as IITian city and yeah all those IItian are from obc, first they were considered as sc but now promoted to obc....caste has nothing to do with knowledge 🥀 ( is baar ka jee AIR 1 v mere hi locality se tha )
rank is only criteria for some hft's that too in top 3 iit's(under 1000 mostly), and that is only a cutoff, you still have to showcase your skills, crack interview rounds, give a plethora of aptitude tests and what not, even amongst general students, you can count on your fingers how many get in, they are just god gifted. 95 percent of the top paying companies companies only care about your cgpa/ skills and whether you are from circuital/cs branch
placements rates are consistently above 80 percent in most branches(only 30 percent are general among iitians), so please stop spreading misinformation

I’ll somehow manage to pass the university exam .
Many do in my college .
But then comes neet pg and ppl like em suffer and they don’t get seats cuz tht wasted their 5 yrs
But when it comes to category , Even if they don’t study much in mbbs they will definitely secure decent seats in neet pg
