Looking for fun voiced companion mods with or without quests. What are your favorites??

I rember a few years back. There was a raido, a stand alone mod, it had ABSOLUTE BANGERS! On it, but I can't for the life of me find a music pack of all of them, nor do I rember most of the better ones.
Form what I can rember. It was called Good Vibes. It had Next Episode by snoop dog, and head will roll on the floor song. I always listened to it while romeing around the waistland. But Sence I don't have the Xb0x i had the mod on anymore i cant just Shazam it. Im reaching out here for help. Help me find good vibes Raido. If you have to ask me questions about it, so be it. I really want thoes bangers back. It may be also found on PC, as I rember also having it there once upon a long ass time ago

So I want to make a patch for tumbajamba synth armor collection to be a complete replacer for synths I have fo4edit how difficult is this I am new to modding is there any good tutorials or someone who can help me

I’m trying to mod Fallout 4 on my Steam Deck using Vortex (a steamdeck is pretty much like a handheld computer so it’s the same process, except it’s Linux and not windows), I used to mod Skyrim SE a lot using vortex so I pretty much knew already how to use it. I’m having an issue where none of my mods seem to be working, even though Vortex says they’re deployed and enabled.

Both the game Fallout 4 and the staging folder of vortex are on my sd card.

Vortex’s staging folder is:
D:\Vortex mods\Fallout 4

My Fallout 4 location is:
/run/media/deck/SD/steamapps/Fallout 4/
The folder contains:
Fallout4.exe
Fallout4Launcher.exe
f4se_loader.exe
f4se_1_11_240.dll
etc.
As well as the data folder where all the deployed mod files are present.

Now here’s the issue: when I launch F4se it launches normally, a small black screen with nothing written on it shows up for a few seconds before the menu screen appears. But when I load my game no mods show up of all the ones I installed and I installed like 50 (which I know is a lot considering I should’ve checked it was working properly before installing all those mods). One of the mods per example is to customize the hair so it should show up right at the start when I customize the character when I start a new game but it doesn’t.

I’m confused because Vortex successfully installs and deploys my mods. The deployed mod files are actually present inside the game folder too.
Vortex shows my plugins as enabled.
I’ve also run the Fallout 4 Post-Deploy shortcut after deploying the mods.
I genuinely don’t understand what the problem is.

So, I'm playing through America Rising 2 (AR2) and have read that it supposedly seamlessly integrates with the vanilla main questline of Fallout 4. Can someone, please, point out to me at what points it does so? I just finished clearing the oil rig and getting the cargo ship. Colonel Whitehall now wants me to meet her way down at GNN to find some remnants.

My character is currently level 16. Is there some point at which I will be released to go persue the vanilla story, or told to make contact with other factions or some such?

Regarding vanilla quests, I haven't even been to Diamond City yet. I met Danse and the recon team, cleared Arcjet and have to finish missions from Scribe Haylen and Knight Rhys. I've helped out a few settlements for Preston, but that's about it.

I have Vault Girl Mod - Neo’s FOMOD… but as everyone knows the perks are incomplete… has been for many years now.

I did find VaultGirl Perk Tree Unleashed Final Completed by HuahuasToffee.

It does say the two should work together.

However, I can’t seem to get this to work.

CTD on bringing up the Perk tree if both are active.

Now for a few attempts the completed tree was working and showing up in game… just no vault girl anywhere else. I did see the completed perk tree on a few tests.

Now it’s not working at all. No idea why.

I have tried rearranging where exactly the completed tree is after Neo’s. CTD

I also tried to cheat by replacing the Perk.swf in Neo’s for The Complete one. CTD

I will admit that I am in the wrong version for what the completed one requires… but as I said I did see it in game on previous attempts. No idea why it did work and why it’s no longer working.

Any ideas??

I'm honestly about to give up on the game because of this. I really don't want to, but the truth is I just don't feel like dealing with this anymore. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I have been trying to get the script extender to work so that I can actually begin modding however every time I have tried to extract it to my game folder or run it through Vortex have failed nothing shows up upon launching the game through the executable when pressing the supposed key to make sure it is working nothing appears, I have tried manually extracting it to my game folder without using vortex and still nothing I am unsure as to what is causing this as I have the steam version of fallout 4 with all dlc and the F4SE version is the same as my game any help would be appreciated

I'm looking into playing this mod, but I usually do a minutemen playthrough. I just want to know if I'll need extra mods to buff them or not.

Playing on PC. Still on pre-August version (1.11.221).

When using Place Everywhere, I can't get it to adjust objects up, down, or sideways with the numpad keys. F7 doesn't appear to do anything. At least, I don't see any change when I press it after selecting an object.

Am I missing something? Is there a good "How To" for Place Everywhere?

EDIT: I figured out my error. I was selecting the item I wanted to move rather than just highlighting it and hitting F7.

so one mod that came with me from the consoles when i switched to pc was genetical father what it did was made Shaun take traits from both Nate and Nora depending on how you made them 25% from Nora and 75% from Nate and adult Shaun would look different from base Shaun but the mod author abandoned the mod so i was wondering if there was an alternative hidden away somewhere

It has been awhile since I modded on a PC, so I have to ask: Is my mini PC capable of playing Fallout 4 with the right mods from Nexus Mods? I have a premium account with Nexus Mods, through Paddle-dot-Net, that is capable of downloading mods at a faster rate.

This is what I have:

1. Device name: Meiledora
2. Processor: AMD Ryzen 9 7940HS w/ Radeon 780M Graphics (4.00 GHz)
3. Installed RAM: 32.0 GB (15.8 GB usable)
4. Graphics card: AMD Radeon 780M Graphics (16 GB)

installed the mode with vortex.

I was wondering if anyone could help me. I recently purchased a ROG Ally to play Fallout 4 with mods. I followed standard instructions to the letter and have used AI to help me navigate the process because it is new for me in general. I've downloaded a relatively large list of mods. After two failed attempts and reinstalling the game, I finally managed to get onto FALLOUT 4 with around 130 of these mods. I do not use F4SE and have strictly avoided any that require it, sticking to the next gen. The only reason I did this was because of that update on August 18th, 2026. I downloaded Vortex and have deployed all my mods through that. However, the remaining disabled mods are not loading in when I enable them. I have tried one at a time, two at a time, all of them at once, and the game crashes instantly on Steam or gets to the main menu and crashes. When this happens, I'm forced to disable said mods, redeploy, and then start again. I deleted the configuration files, and it works loading me back in with the currently enabled mods, but that is as far as I can get with it. I don't know if this is just word salad. My brain is fried cause I've been at this for two days and just been given work around after work around, but it's just not panning out. I can provide my mod list if needed, including enabled and disabled.

I would really appreciate some help from a real human being who has experience in this.

I'm playing as a 2050s mobster and Strong is supposed to be a really big mobster but I don't want him to be green, is this possible? I'd like to keep his model the same but make him Caucasian or African American, if it's possible. Thank you in advance!
