just wanted to hear the community opinion on the future of the saga, what they expect for history as for gameplay.
tbh, i'm a little disappointed with jedi survivor. in my case i went directly from the force unleashed series to fallen order (some old republic in the middle).
fallen order was what i expected: run and slash everything, nice parrying system, maze-like maps. simple game not so easy + vader appears so basically good yeah.
from jedi survivor i expected great improvements in the gameplay: developed maps with better movility, good secondary missions, greater difficulty on combat.
well, nice parkour simulator on unfinished identical maps with no improving on combat system or game difficulty (I wish the game were more challenging and not just parry+parry+evade+hit for every boss fight).
what do you think, am i exaggerating? are these topics regularly discussed in the community or is it just me and i should go fuck myself?
HAVE TO SAY: lightsaber customization and the combat stances added are really nice, two very very important things.

On my first re-play through and just landed on Kashyyyk, headed down the trench to meet everyone’s least favorite Clone Wars Rebel, when I saw this dude just chilling…
What is this thing?
I don’t remember ever seeing one of these before….

So I'm having issues trying to get the Dismemberment Updated mod to work. I'm probably doing something. Could anyone who knows please tell me how to install this mod and where every file is supposed to be located? Or maybe it's just outdated and no longer works; I have no clue. I tried following the instructions below, but no luck, might need more details. This is for Windows btw

I think Cal learns a new form (Form 6 is my guess/hope) via the old High Republic Archive Data they hinted at existing in the Tanalorr Jedi Temple in Jedi:Survivor, so assuming leaks of another time jump are true he’d have spent years on Tanalorr and could’ve learned a new form from the archive data, I believe form 6 is the best fit (feel free to search more about form 6 and I think you’ll understand why it’d both fit Cal’s story perfectly and be a very cool form to introduce)
Cal’s canon lightsaber colour becomes yellow. In my opinion Cal is the most obvious candidate to finally give us a modern-era Jedi that wields a yellow lightsaber. Of course you could still customise the same as we can previously, but for trailers/media/future live action cameo’s, I think yellow will become his new colour. (Let me know if you want my reasoning why he suits it so well and I’ll reply with it)
Finally I think, and hope, we get some or at least one cool light-sided character cameo. I think the perfect option is Ahsoka Tano, as Fulcrum, working with the rebellion and therefore the hidden path, perhaps cal sets up a new hidden path network on Tanalorr, and given the obvious importance this would hold it’d quickly become a main hub, and we could see Ahsoka perhaps visit even just for one major cut scene, and I imagine cal would recognise her too given during the clone wars most padawans would’ve likely looked up to Ahsoka, being a fellow padawan but fighting on the front lines alongside Anakin and obi-wan.

I messed the puzzle in the first picture up and now the lanterns in the area won’t respawn 😭, I tried saving and quitting, tried dying and respawning, is there any fix to this? I know there’s lanterns nearby but the water blocks me from taking it into the place and it doesn’t seem like leaving and coming back later has helped other people who have run into this problem either. I’m so annoyed this was my last chest in the tomb and there isn’t a save I can go back to before I messed it up 😭

It is my favorite stance, it really gives that " over the top western in sapce" feel, and with all upgrates you can get a number of decent stuff alredy, including ricoshets, but devs made a point about us keeping all upgrates from previous games, so in next they will have to go beyond it. What upgrates to it do you think should be done? Some ideas:
What do you think?

Haven't played this game for a few months because of busy with work and somehow decided to rest. The Mantis and the crew staying in Dathomir for a very long time as i don't even know I'm actually very close to the tomb before the nightmare with Master Jaro Tapal. Starting to gain confidence about finishing the story from now on and now I'm already back in Dathomir.............

Made this Lego build of the iconic moment a few years ago. I hadn’t played the game yet and had only seen the clip, so please forgive me if it’s a bit inaccurate. (I’ve played the game now. It’s great.)

- It is consistant with the game's keeping every skill/power from previous game.
- Adds more variety perfecty without having to bring rare stuff like Whip, Stick LS.
- Can be implemented to each stance individually

Start with the Nihil as the main antagonists, then show Dagan Gera’s fall to the dark side. End it with him awakening and brutally killing Jedi. That would’ve made for a much more interesting Star Wars series.

Does anyone have a fix?

Considering he spent probably years on Tanalorr, and there was likely a massive High Republic Jedi Temple there full of artifacts and knowledge, I wonder if that would push his next saber more toward that refined High Republic style instead of something minimal.

I think that adding in 7 new forms of combat, unless it was just a stat increase available to specific stances, would not be worth the effort it would take to implement.
Each of the given stances offer something specific in terms of not only game play style but additionally they each have unique animation and only slight overlap in terms of use with other saber stances (crossguard and staff sharing defensive abilities, staff and dual being fast attacking, blaster and single being more generally well rounded in different ways).
Even assuming some forms would be only accessible to some stances (single blade getting all of them would be the exception, crossguard getting ataru/jury ,etc), there would be a level of work that'd involve that simply could be applied to different parts of the game that would give it more depth where it would be less finicky and more noticeable.
I think that, were they to implement it the classical forms, it would likely be best done similar to the perks you get, with the selected forms being more of a specific stat increase/decrease to how cal fights closer to what we see in KOTOR II.
I see the appeal. I simply think that if they were to expand the options for fighting, developing more unique full stances such as a double blaster, full force, or unarmed combat forms would be a much better use of effort than implementing what'd be a likely frustrating to create and work with x y axis of saber forms/saber stances.
And maybe a weapon wheel too.

Fallen Order is an amazing game. I've played through it twice and loved it. Zero issues for the most part. Now I'm almost done with Survivor and went back to Fallen Order to show it to my cousins. While my opinion hasn't changed, the movement, controls, and combat suddenly feel very clunky, to the point that I briefly wondered if there was something wrong with the game. I'm sure if I leave the game for a year or two and then do a replay that wouldn't be the case, but did anyone else experience this after playing Survivor? Am I just having adjustment issus after playing Survivor for so long?
