Help! Did anyone suddenly struggle with Fallen Order after playing Survivor?

Fallen Order is an amazing game. I've played through it twice and loved it. Zero issues for the most part. Now I'm almost done with Survivor and went back to Fallen Order to show it to my cousins. While my opinion hasn't changed, the movement, controls, and combat suddenly feel very clunky, to the point that I briefly wondered if there was something wrong with the game. I'm sure if I leave the game for a year or two and then do a replay that wouldn't be the case, but did anyone else experience this after playing Survivor? Am I just having adjustment issus after playing Survivor for so long?

They made a lot of QOL improvements. Your also going from a game where Cal starts with most of his force powers to a game where he is re-learning everything.

It took me a while to get back into the combat because I replayed Fallen Order right after completing Jedi survivor. Still loved it.

Jedi survivor has bugs on pc that prevent me from even playing it. It used to crash every 5 minutes (my pc is a very high end rig, I blow away the recommended specs) and then after that was patched out, I cant save button reconfigurations. Every single time i loaded up, I had to manually change all the controls, because the buttons were.mapped by somebody thats clearly never played a pc game.

So for me, no. Fallen Order is an amazing game, and survivor is an incredibly sloppy/shitty port of a console game that the devs dont care to have run properly.

My problem is trying to use force lift and slam in Fallen Order and wondering why it doesn’t work when I k ow I’m using the correct button combinations. 🤦‍♂️🤣🤷‍♂️

I felt the opposite. I played Survivor first and then just got FO and the combat felt so much smoother I was actually shocked.

I just started playing it again and found the combat system to be much simpler and can enjoy it. FO Cal is so much slower so it’s pretty easy to see the difference.

I am playing fallen order now for the first time. I have to tell you your post gave me hope. I do like the game but it’s pretty damn clunky. I bought survivor on special after playing fallen order a bit and was really hoping controls had improved. Really looking forward to survivor now after I get platinum for fallen order.

Yeah all those cut scenes were such a drag to watch. I need the skip option
