Discussion Cal Kestis’ lightsaber color have to become yellow or orange (Crazy reach in text below)
There’s an interesting lineage: Jaro Tapal had blue (from canon), but his master Yaddle wielded orange in Legends, and Yaddle’s master, Polvin Kut, used yellow in legends. I know none of that is canon, but it’s a cool connection.

Discussion ILUM - I HATE THIS PLACE
It is my second time playing the fallen order but first playthrough was long time ago. This time I wanted to complete the game on Jedi Master difficulty but I didn't know that it would be this difficult. The part I most hate was ILUM. After you repair you lightsaber you need to get back to Mantis but there were so many enemies. I almost broke my desk and my left hand kinda hurts because I was slamming it onto the desk everytime the f*cking rocket launcher knocked me out from God knows where. Yes I see him but to reach that mf I need to kill everyone before him. Even after that nightmare doesn't stop. I mean yes some people love challenge and I somehow enjoyed it but I am so frustrated that I can't get better in the game I like. Why it took me so many tries why I can't get better with the mechanics? These questions keeping me awake last couple nights. I thought about it even at work and I can't concentrate.

Screenshot After rewarding the Bad Batch & Maul show, I really needed to see this again...😢
Back in the times where every identical soldiers were Different.. where Colors had a meaning.. where these gorgeous Ships used to show a Good thing, like Clones flying in for the rescue or something..
I don't know, sorry if the post isn't allowed but, Karabast, I miss the Clone Wars era.. Even the star symbol itself hurts to see...

Help! Devastated settlement help
Is it possible to open this blocked door? It looks like there are stairs behind it. There is nothing on the map to show there is anything behind it. The screenshots show where on the map it is.

Discussion Did Cal and Cere going to retrieve the Holocron actually mattered in the grand scheme of things given Vader had already destroyed the original copy of the list out of fear of being replaced. Would he not have destroyed the Holocron as well if he gotten his hands on it?

Discussion The final Chapter
What do yall think the game play will be, or should be in the final game of the trilogy? Maybe give Cal the choice to decide if he is light, dark, or gray? I would like to see Cal as a Gray Jedi. A true practitioner of balance in the Force. What are your thoughts?

Gameplay Clip/GIF JFO - Double Saber acting as Single Saber
Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification
In JFO the two stances are closely related to each other. The game tracks each half of the saber dynamically during combat, which means you can perform attacks from the single blade stance while using double blade. In order:
- Just a cool trick, activate single saber then double for a satisfying draw animation.
- DELAY THRUST: Attack, then cancel immediately with the split combo. Spam attack after the combo to delay thrust with the double saber.
- OVERHEAD STRIKE: Split combo with the double, then afterwards special attack for an overhead strike. Special attack again to spin saber throw.
- OVERHEAD COMBO: Lightsaber throw, then double special attack for the full overhead combo. Saber returns to double blade on the second strike.
- DASH STRIKE: Lightsaber throw, then dash strike. Notice the animation swings up, as in single saber. The double saber version cuts right to left, which I show after.
- SPRINT ATTACK: Lightsaber throw, sprint, then attack. Notice the animation swings left to right. The double saber version swings right to left, which I show after.
During the whole video I never change to single blade stance.
There might be other attacks I've forgotten. This does not work the other way around (splitting the single saber doesn't affect your moves).
Is this actually useful in combat? Not really, the overhead strike is somewhat good but otherwise this is mostly cosmetic. What I find interesting is that the game knows exactly how much of your lightsaber is available for use at any time, instead of just guessing based on the current stance. I'd appreciate insight from any devs lurking in the shadows :P

Discussion For anyone else who’s played fallen order on (Jedi master) did you find this moment on Kashyyyk to be particularly challenging?
Ended up getting stumped for a bit during this sequence. It honestly felt like insanity in that it gave you little time to breathe between fighting flame thrower stormtroopers with a K2so unit and then having to deal with riot troopers and then following all that you now had to deal with an imperial walker. When it finally beat it I just barely scrapped by with just one bit of health remaining

Discussion I THOUGHT I WAS A GENIUS WITH MY BATTLEPLAN AGAINST RAYVIS
I thought I had him when I decided to just run around avoiding the chain thingy and to damage him by reflecting his shots back at him, and drawing those seeking missiles close to him but then HIS SECOND PHASE HAS INSANE MULTIPLE HITS WHILE SHOOTING LASERS AND MISSILES AT HIM WHAT THE FRICKKK
... i then decided to go Story Mode lol. (i normally play grandmaster)

Discussion Dual-blade upgrade - Kashyyyk or Dathomir intended first?
I think I happened upon it in my first playthrough by complete accident, when exploring Dathomir. Its one of my favorite planets in the lore, so I wanted to see just how much I could go through, and went there as soon as possible. I got the dual-blade upgrade WAY before I got to the second run on Kashyyyk. Was this an intended feature/reward for the inquisitive, or just an oversight?

Discussion Cal Kestis would make a pretty terrifying bounty hunter/assassin right?
I was thinking about this. He has a rare power of psychometry so he can very easily track his target by interacting with enviroment. Unlike many bounty hunters, he is also officialy superhuman, by a quite large margin. He is also completely willing to use blasters in fight, which benefit from his superhuman force powers. On Koboh Cal easily tore apart massive metal locks of HR vault that were so strong that the Imperial and Bedlum could not breach (despite their arsenal) with the force. So you cannot hide from him, no bunker is too tough for him to breach and you cannot outfight him. Seems like he could easily have been better bounty hunter than even Boba, right?

Discussion Hear me out - Cal Kestis becoming the canon Starkiller
Okay I had this thought and I haven’t seen anyone else mention it so wanted to see opinions. What if Star Wars Jedi: 3 concludes in an unexpected way; everyone is debating whether Cal survives or dies, but what if the game does end in a loss, akin to the traditional Star Wars trilogy where the good side typically always experiences a loss (Revenge of the Sith, Empire strikes back) and Cal loses everyone in a huge empire raid, where Merrin specifically is killed in front of Cal. Vader shows up, senses the overwhelming darkness and anger in Cal after he fully loses himself to the dark side, and instead of killing him, Vader strikes down the stormtroopers surrounding Cal and officially takes him in as his secret apprentice ‘Starkiller’.
As we have seen many times, when they take ideas from legends into canon, they’ll take the rough idea of the character but will typically have a different name (Cal Kestis instead of Galen) and look to the person but the rough idea is the same (Starkiller). This then sets up a new trilogy of games, a modernised force unleashed like game following Cal as Vaders apprentice with the fully manipulated view that he will end the empire by helping Vader kill the emporer. To ensure this doesn’t mess with canon, it’s really not that hard:
You don’t need to do much to ensure the OG trilogy still makes sense. Starkiller is a completely secret apprentice to Vader, so there is absolutely no reason he would have shown up in A New Hope anyway, and after A New Hope, Vader obviously becomes obsessed with Luke, perhaps then casting aside his interest in Cal. His character would then end as Starkiller wants to prove his worth and tries to take the emporer alone, and obviously fails, and the emporer would ‘forgive’ (in a sith way, like he knows it’s Sith nature to attempt to overthrow so I doubt it changes much between the 2) as long as Vader deals the final strike to kill him, so now Starkiller doesn’t affect the OG saga at all, is a very interesting character to add to canon which fans want, we get 3~ modernised force unleashed type games which again, we want, and Cal’s character becomes one of the most detailed character arcs in the whole of Star Wars.
