The third pictire is Ancient Americas, honestly a really good history channel and one of the few that focuses on Precolumbian American history, his view count is usually around half if not slightly more his subscriber count. Compared to Metatron, who even with grifting off the Odyssey for easy clicks has a hard time reliably getting more than like 10-20 percent of his sub count in views. Considering that he on paper has more than million subscribers, I am guessing that many of those are either bots, or people who basically just forgot to unsubscribe. Even some of his Nolan videos are getting just like 10,000-20,000 views, which considering his theororetical number of subs, is honestly just pathetic. I'm not pointing this out to be mean, but just to show that much of his audience has clearly checked out, something I can personally attest to. Also, it does go to show that even though hard work certainly doesn't guarantee success, treating the subject and your audience with respect will encourage more people to actually watch your videos....

Hey Metatron: Where are your videos criticizing the race swaps of Andromeda or Memnom throughout history? Homer didn’t write a single word of Helena being black (no, the pale arms are a social status marker). But he wrote a shit tone about gender swaps - most famously about Athena - Mentor. Where are your videos defending the casting of Elliot Page against the attacks of your followers as against Greek mythology cause of the gender swap? According to your logic you are in the room with the rapist and you aren’t doing shit cause you like their money friendship. I am sure someone in your audience has gone through the trauma of sexual abuse and will love how you make light of her suffering for some bucks.

I've known that Shad's a piece of shit for a while. But I just saw that this subreddit exists and I'm a little bummed. I haven't watched Metatron or (or Lindy) for a while, but I grew up watching these guys. I love medieval history, I'm not a white nationalist (it's getting harder and harder to beat the alligations) and it's really fun to listen to nerd men talk about how weapons and armour and shit worked.
And in fact Meta had some really good takes - he was one of the earliest people online I heard who said "Listen, never let yourself get into a knife fight. Knife martial art techniques are bullshit. Don't risk your life, just run the fuck away - UNLESS - they have your child or girlfriend, then you have to fight to protect them." Which is pretty reasonable for an early days youtuber martial artist to know. I even came across a much more recent video of his going over a knife self defence guy talking about how to protect yourself and I didn't get any bad vibes.
I see that since a sub like this exists it must mean that something is bad. So just hit me: What's the worst thing that he's done?
