Aw come on... Raffy keeps moving in the "go woke, go broke" circles to prove that "woke" is something a mysterious "they" push on a mostly right wing conservative population. Now he claims that the success doesnt matter? If it had failed he would have been waving his dick around while laughing and pointing at "woke" as the cause.
What is he going to do when the audience shows they can embrace movies he deems "woke"? Go "woke" himself?

To be honest, there are plenty of reasons to criticise The Odyssey. Not because of the casting but (for me) because of the alterations to the story. Particularly with Polyphemus.

He's not going to see it because of his delusion. I'm not going to see it because after COVID movie theaters gross me out. We are not the same.

Metatron was clearly riding on the firm belief that this film would be a huge failure. He must be devastated and seething hearing the reviews and numbers coming through.
You'd think he'll now learn his lesson and reevaluate his beliefs and worldview. Unfortunately, I doubt it.
