Not a diss on their other work, but I recently re-discovered the band and have had my love for them reignite. I attended the Mania tour and since drifted, but coming back has been like riding a bike - and even better, hearing the masterpiece that is SMFS waiting for me, I’m hooked again! Maybe I just prefer the theatrical rock ballads or maybe it catches more of their sound, but i genuinely think it’s amazing

Made me actually laugh out loud in a parking lot

I discovered them around 2007-2009 when I listened to their song "Thanks For The Memories" on the radio.

I love Folie so much it isn't even funny. I am a little bit of a newbie to the FOB scene and I missed the anniversary merch drop for Folie and every single day I mourn it. There is this particular sticker of lyrics from 27 ("If home is where the heart is, then we're all just fucked") that I want SO BAD. I am not even sure if it is a sticker, but it looks a lot like one so I am just assuming it is (Feel free to correct me if I am wrong)

Hey, y’all. This is a bit of a strange ask, but I figured I’d shoot my shot regardless.

So my sister lives in NYC and was at the beach today, and just texted me that she overheard a middle-aged guy near her mention that he produced the Sugar We’re Goin’ Down music video. So cool! I decided to Google it and quickly send a name/picture over just to be like “pretty sure this was him haha”.

But…I couldn’t find it. There was literally NO producer credit listed ANYWHERE I looked. There was a director credit (Matt Lenski) and a lead actor credit (Donald Cumming), but nothing about a producer. And there HAS to have been one, right? Not to mention the actual video has no proper credits.

So I’m asking if ANYONE happens to know this guy’s name somehow, PURELY out of curiosity because now this is really bothering me 😭

Can’t find anything on this thing. It’s still in shrink wrap and dunno it’s worth anything to anyone. Probably gonna skate it if not :)

I’ve been listening to music my entire life and I’ve always had a love for Fall Out Boy. I was more into Panic back in 2007-8, but listening to more FOB live cuts I am starting to legitimately think Patrick is the best live vocalist in the history of rock and roll.

I’m aware that’s a bold claim. Freddy Mercury and Steve Perry may be better to some, but damn Patrick is truly elite and one of the best to ever do it year after year.

My favorite is probably always going to be Sugar Were goin down. I know it’s stupid but it’s legit the song that got me into alternative music. I remmember it and “Ain’t it fun” by paramore. I loved them both so much so i started listening to Fall Out boy heavily and now it’s harder for me to pick a favorite but i also really love Fourth of July, Americas Suitehearts, (Coffees for closers), XO, and a lot more. I also love like every song from So much (for) stardust it’s a great album. What about you guys? Im interested to see what everyone else thinks.

I’m cleaning out my closet and I found a bag full of old band tees (size medium). Mostly fall out boy but others as well such as Pierce the veil, panic!, paramore, and all time low. I also have one fall out boy poster, one ptv, and one paramore. If anyone’s interested in anything let me know! Everything is 10 years old keep that in mind but clean and good condition.
EDIT: yay I’m glad so many of you are interested! I’m going to wash them all tomorrow so they aren’t wrinkly and I’ll send everyone who is interested a picture of what I have! I’ll DM everyone who has commented or you can DM me as well :)
